1600 Pennsylvania Avenue: Positively the Home Of Donald J.Trump and America
The Dems protect illegals while Trump protects Americans. The Dems want to destroy America while Trump wants to save it. The Dems are panicking to remove Trump before Trump removes them. Thank God for Trump. For the past 3+ years, the Dems have done nothing except piss away our tax dollars on the most desperate & corrupt attempts to remove the greatest President our country has have ever seen. This is what happens when an outsider who can’t be influenced becomes commander-in-chief.”

“  I wish that for just one time you could stand inside my shoes and for that one moment I could be you. You’d then know what a drag it is to see you”— Bob Dylan, “Positively 4 th  Street,” 1968.

The above verse from Bob Dylan’s song in 1968 could certainly apply to Donald Trump today when it comes to Trump vs.the left. Any other man or woman would have folded by now from the constant attacks, slander, hate, ridicule, & malicious attempts to destroy a man’s life. But President Trump THRIVES under these conditions as he constantly plays the media like a fiddle and they don’t realize it. Case in point: Leftist rag Newsweek printed a story painting President Trump who only golfs and thinks of himself and how his Florida Thanksgiving would be like some golden, self-indulgent extravaganza. The only problem is, the publication put out the story while he was on his way to Afghanistan to spend Thanksgiving with U.S. troops.

The more they ridicule him and his family the more he fights back and for the good of the country. Recently the young man named Dylan (not Bob) on his twitter feed Educating Liberals had this to say : “The Dems work to give themselves raises while Trump works for free.

So true and he is driving liberals crazy.

democrats-trump-crazy.jpg Liberals love to say you shouldn’t make fun of women, yet there they are ridiculing Melania every chance they get about her clothes and accent. When Melania was in Egypt she was wearing a pith helmet which is a fashion piece for over there. Right away Joyless Behar on the View complained that her hat was reminiscent of colonialism and therefore was racist. Libs love to say you shouldn’t make fun of a person’s accent yet there is Jimmy Kimmel, another low life late-night TV comic who used to be funny before he became a fellow late-night Trump hater. Kimmel makes fun of Melania’s accent many times bringing laughter from his sycophant audience.

Last week while speaking at an Opioid Awareness conference in Baltimore, Maryland, our amazing and selfless first lady was booed by ungrateful and rude students. To make matters worse, Melania Trump was booed on the very same day that President Donald Trump donated a quarter of his salary to fight opioid addiction

Unlike so many liberals, Melania Trump is pure class. Her response to the booing at the event was as classy and graceful as she is. Rather than adding fuel to the fire, Mrs. Trump defended the kids and their right to free speech and said, “I am fighting for you.”

Melania Trump issued a statement on Wednesday that read in part: “We live in a democracy and everyone is entitled to their opinion.”

She added, “But the fact is we have a serious crisis in our country, and I remain committed to educating children on the dangers and deadly consequences of drug abuse.”

Robert DeNiro is another lowlife aging actor I’ve talked about before. He stepped out on the stage of the Golden Globe Awards and the first thing out of his potty mouth was “F— Trump” and the audience cheered. DeNiro went on Stephen Colbert’s show and called Trump a “F—en fool” Colbert recently returned from New Zealand and said he wished he could be as proud of his country as New Zealanders are of theirs.

What an idiot and ignorant fool. You mean to tell me, Stephen, that you are not proud of a country that defeated fascism, Naziism and communism in your lifetime? You’re not proud of a country that under Trump is succeeding around the world with the lowest unemployment numbers in 50 years? You’re not proud of a country that is bringing companies back here to hire people and people have more money in their paychecks because Trump lowered the FICA and business taxes? You’re not proud of a country that has the mightiest military in the world now and other countries are respecting us again? I guess you’re so blinded by your hate for Trump you can’t see the forest for the trees. No wonder I never liked you or thought you were funny.

Aging actor Robert Redford who is now 83 years old  is the latest to attack Trump. Redford penned an op-ed Tuesday calling the Trump administration a “monarchy in disguise” and stressing the importance of preserving U.S. democracy by voting the president out next year.

robert_redford.jpg

“We’re up against a crisis I never thought I’d see in my lifetime: a dictator-like attack by President Donald Trump on everything this country stands for,” the 83-year-old Oscar winner and Sundance Film Festival founder wrote for NBC News.

“As last week’s impeachment hearings made clear, our shared tolerance and respect for the truth, our sacred rule of law, our essential freedom of the press and our precious freedoms of speech — all have been threatened by a single man,” he continued.

The hateful loony liberals never cite actual cases to back up their claims. They are simply repeating the talking points the Dims’ propaganda media tells them to say. It’s like they are in a trance and cannot enter into a civil conversation. That’s what the Dems do–they criticize, but I have never heard them cite actual cases.

Most people have no idea how screwed we would be right now if Trump hadn’t won in 2016. In spite of all the mess and intolerance, the left has imposed on Trump and his family he still prevails and wins and is continuing to make America great. He fights back and the libs can’t stand someone standing up to them.

trump-now-its-my-turn.jpg

Yes, all you lib never Trumpers your anti- Trump rants are getting pretty tiresome now. To paraphrase Bob Dylan, “We wish you could stand inside our shoes and for that one moment, we could be you. Yes, we wish you could stand inside our shoes. You’d know what a drag it is to see you.

Let's look at the difference shall we?

Trump said he would be too busy working for "us" to have time to play golf.  Did Obama ever say that?  I never expected him to totally give up playing something he loves to do.  A POTUS needs a little play time in their lives to help with stress, but Trump has taken it to a entirely new expensive level.

Obama played the majority of golf (61%) at military installations, drastically reducing the cost.   Trump only golfs at his golf clubs.  What happens is that some of the those millions that it cost taxpayers when Trump golf goes into Trump’s own pockets.  Trump lines his own pockets with taxpayers money each time he golfs at his own golf clubs. No wonder he only golf at his own golf clubs. Trump never plays golf at any other clubs other than his own golf clubs. All 132 visits are to his own golf clubs. Trump also increased the membership to his golf clubs to $300,000 from $100,000. This has increased his profits by a large amount.

At week 80 into his presidency, Obama would have spent approximately $17.25 million.  Compare this to the sum that Trump had spent - $74 million by week 80, and you see that Trump spend 4 times as much as Obama did at this point in his presidency.

Trump played golf 132 times by week 80. Obama played golf 44 times. Trump played golf 3 times as much as Obama.

Really?  Don’t be ridiculous.  It was the democrats who had their impregnable solid electoral college blue wall.  Hillary tried to get Trump to agree to accept the results of the election in a debate when the reverse was considered possible.  Trump ran an electoral college campaign.  He campaigned tirelessly and did 3-4 rallies daily down the stretch spending a lot of time in Minnesota, Michigan, Iowa, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Maine 2, in addition to NC, Fla, Phio, Arizona.  He ran to break down the blue wall at the expense of running against the bi coastal and Chicago elites.  He gave the down and out hope and they went with him. Trump ran a brilliant campaign and Hillary did not.

Interesting as well. As you are doing now. Your party is in cahoots with President Donald Trump to rig the upcoming election through hook and crook. It is a concerted effort to ignore (as happened in 2016) all evidences which will not advance your parties political goals. Trump did campaign hard in the states you mentioned on his own plane no doubt. However, since he is still withholding proper documents and information from the defunct Mueller investigations and members of his team are in jail or have not been caught fully for the lies they have told, Donald is free to do so again.

That is, he has stonewalled the legitimate House of Representatives (conservatives you to 'swear' by the people); he has conspired with the Senate to get off from persecution, he has stacked the courts, and will likely when and if given the chance rig the 2020 elections.

That is a synopsis. The 'short' version of events. Our country is in mortal danger beyond its ability to understand it.

Don't get clever with me, Heartland American. You were doing good to accept the compliment right where it stood. Two circumstances in politics can be true at the same time, nevertheless. You know that, and don't you ever think for one second that I don't know this too.

From the seeded article

To make matters worse, Melania Trump was booed on the very same day that President Donald Trump donated a quarter of his salary to fight opioid addiction

-

To make the math a little simpler, let's assume that Trump has a net worth of 4 billion dollars ( he says 10 billion, other sources say 3 billion or less).

400,000 ( his yearly salary as president) divided by 4,000,000,000 (four billion )  is  0.0001.  Or if you prefer multiply 400,000 X 10,000

The result is 4 billion.

So when Trump donates 400,000 dollars to charity it is 1 /10,000 of his fortune.

That is like someone with a net worth of the average American, which is $68,828,  donating $6.88.

I doubt that is entirely true, but in any case you miss the point completely. Donald Trump doesnt need an income. His income could be zero for the rest of his life and it would be utterly meaningless to him.

Praising Trump for donating 1/10,000th of his money to charity borders on absurdity.

Most people have no idea how screwed we would be right now if Trump hadn’t won in 2016.

This is the sort of meaningless nonsense the right prides itself in.  Hillary Clinton is a centrist Democrat. If she were president now we would be having roughly the same conditions of life as we do under Trump. The unemployment rate would have gone down and the stock market would have gone up.  The difference is that we wouldn't have had 3 years of constant lying, cheating, bamboozling , narcissism, and most of all, moronic behavior from the White House. We would have normality.

And yet there is still fascism, Naziism and communisim present all around the world, not to mention antisemitism, so who exactly is a fool?

You’re not proud of a country that under Trump is succeeding around the world with the lowest unemployment numbers in 50 years?

Trump affects unemployment in other countries?  News to me, does he also take credit for the homeless crisis here and abroad?

You’re not proud of a country that is bringing companies back here to hire people and people have more money in their paychecks because Trump lowered the FICA and business taxes?

Highly partisan way of looking at an increase of 500,000 jobs compared to the 6 million lost in the previous period of 1998 through 2010.  Lowering FICA weakens Social Security & Medicare...a rather short sighted view.

You’re not proud of a country that has the mightiest military in the world now and other countries are respecting us again?

The US military has been and continues to be the mightiest since Rome. Judging the amount of respect we receive from other nations is apparently now a partisan blind spot, ignoring the various G7, G8 G20 meetings of the past few years where the current POTUS has embarrassed our allies routinely.

1776-1863.

Really?  How unpatriotic of you...

We only defeated Britain twice, along with Spain, France, Tripoli, the Ottomans, several Indian nations, Mexico twice...

I think there's an old saying that goes "better to be thought a fool than offer an opinion that proves it" or something like that...

1775–1799

1775–1783 : American Revolutionary War : an armed struggle for secession from the British Empire by the Thirteen Colonies that would subsequently become the United States.

1776–1777 : Second Cherokee War : a series of armed conflicts when the Cherokee fought to prevent the encroachment of American settlers into eastern Tennessee and eastern Kentucky ; under British rule, this land had been preserved as native territory.

1776–1794 : Cherokee–American wars : a continuation of the Second Cherokee War that included a larger number of native tribes attempt to halt the expansion of settlers into Kentucky and Tennessee

1785–1795 : Northwest Indian War : a series of battles with various native tribes in present-day Ohio . The goal of the campaign was to affirm American sovereignty over the region and to create increased opportunities for settlement.

1786–1787 : Shays' Rebellion : a Western Massachusetts debtor's revolt over a credit squeeze that had financially devastated many farmers. The federal government was fiscally unable to raise an army to assist the state militia in combating the uprising; the weakness of the national government bolstered the arguments in favor of replacing the Articles of Confederation with an updated governmental framework .

1791–1794 : Whiskey Rebellion : a series of protests against the institution of a federal tax on the distillation of spirits as a revenue source for repaying the nation's war bonds. The revolt was centered upon southwestern Pennsylvania , although violence occurred throughout the Trans-Appalachian region.

1798–1800 : Quasi-War : an undeclared naval war with France over American default on its war debt. Another contributing factor was the continuation of American trade with Britain, with whom their former French allies were at war. This contest included land actions, such as that in the Dominican Republic city of Puerto Plata , where U.S. Marines captured a French vessel under the guns of the forts. Congress authorized military action through a series of statutes. [1]

1799–1800 : Fries' Rebellion : a string of protests against the enactment of new real estate taxes to pay for the Quasi-War. Hostilities were concentrated in the communities of the Pennsylvania Dutch .

1800–1809

1801–1805 : First Barbary War : a series of naval battles in the Mediterranean against the Kingdom of Tripoli , a quasi-independent state of the Ottoman Empire . Action was in response to the capture of numerous American ships by the infamous Barbary pirates . The federal government rejected the Tripolitan request for an annual tribute to guarantee safe passage, and an American naval blockade ensued. After the seizure of USS  Philadelphia , American forces under William Eaton invaded coastal cities. A peace treaty resulted in the payment of a ransom for the return of captured American soldiers and only temporarily eased hostilities. [1]

1806 : Action in Spanish Mexico : The platoon under Captain Zebulon Pike invaded Spanish territory at the headwaters of the Rio Grande on orders from General James Wilkinson . He was made prisoner without resistance at a fort he constructed in present-day Colorado , taken to Mexico, and later released after seizure of his papers. [RL30172]

1806–1810 : Action in the Gulf of Mexico : American gunboats operated from New Orleans against Spanish and French privateers off the Mississippi Delta , chiefly under Captain John Shaw and Master Commandant David Porter . [1]

1810–1819

1810 : West Florida (Spanish territory): Governor William C. C. Claiborne of Louisiana , on orders of President James Madison , occupied with troops territory in dispute east of the Mississippi as far as the Pearl River , later the eastern boundary of Louisiana. He was authorized to seize as far east as the Perdido River . [RL30172]

1812 : Amelia Island and other parts of east Florida, then under Spain: Temporary possession was authorized by President James Madison and by Congress, to prevent occupation by any other power; but possession was obtained by General George Mathews in so irregular a manner that his measures were disavowed by the President. [RL30172]

1812–1815 : War of 1812 : On June 18, 1812, the United States declared war against the United Kingdom. Among the issues leading to the war were British impressment of American sailors into the Royal Navy , interception of neutral ships and blockades of the United States during British hostilities with France. [RL30172] The war ended with the Battle of New Orleans in 1815.

1813 : West Florida (Spanish territory): On authority given by Congress, General Wilkinson seized Mobile Bay in April with 600 soldiers. A small Spanish garrison gave way. Thus U.S. troops advanced into disputed territory to the Perdido River , as projected in 1810. No fighting. [RL30172]

1813–1814 : Marquesas Islands ( French Polynesia ): U.S. forces built a fort on the island of Nuku Hiva to protect three prize ships which had been captured from the British. [RL30172]

1814 : Spanish Florida: General Andrew Jackson took Pensacola and drove out the British forces. [RL30172]

1814–1825 : Caribbean: Engagements between pirates and American ships or squadrons took place repeatedly especially ashore and offshore about Cuba , Puerto Rico , Santo Domingo , and Yucatán . Three thousand pirate attacks on merchantmen were reported between 1815 and 1823. In 1822, Commodore James Biddle employed a squadron of two frigates , four sloops of war , two brigs , four schooners , and two gunboats in the West Indies . [RL30172]

1815 : Algiers : The Second Barbary War was declared against the United States by the Dey of Algiers of the Barbary states , an act not reciprocated by the United States. Congress did authorize a military expedition by statute. A large fleet under Captain Stephen Decatur attacked Algiers and obtained indemnities. [RL30172]

1815 : Tripoli: After securing an agreement from Algiers, Captain Decatur demonstrated with his squadron at Tunis and Tripoli, where he secured indemnities for offenses during the War of 1812. [RL30172]

1816 : Spanish Florida: United States forces destroyed Negro Fort , which harbored fugitive slaves making raids into United States territory. [RL30172]

1816–1818 : Spanish Florida – First Seminole War : The Seminole Indians , whose area was a haven for escaped slaves and border ruffians, were attacked by troops under General Jackson and General Edmund P. Gaines and pursued into northern Florida. Spanish posts were attacked and occupied, British citizens executed. In 1819 the Floridas were ceded to the United States . [RL30172]

1817 : Amelia Island (Spanish territory off Florida): Under orders of President James Monroe , United States forces landed and expelled a group of smugglers, adventurers, and freebooters. This episode in Florida's history became known as the Amelia Island Affair . [RL30172]

1818 : Oregon : USS  Ontario , dispatched from Washington, made a landing at the mouth of the Columbia River to assert US claims. Britain had conceded sovereignty but Russia and Spain asserted claims to the area. [RL30172] Subsequently, American and British claims to the Oregon Country were resolved with the Oregon Treaty of 1846. [RL30172]

1824 : Puerto Rico (Spanish territory): Commodore David Porter with a landing party attacked the town of Fajardo which had sheltered pirates and insulted American naval officers. He landed with 200 men in November and forced an apology. Commodore Porter was later court-martialed for overstepping his powers. [RL30172]

[RL30172]

The war ended with the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo , signed on February 2, 1848. The treaty gave the U.S. undisputed control of Texas, established the U.S.–Mexican border of the Rio Grande, and ceded to the United States the present-day states of California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Wyoming, and parts of Colorado.
