Stark Raving Madness
Speaker Pelosi: "An impeachment is not a pleasant experience. It can be divisive. We don't take any glee in this at all." Also Pelosi—hours later: "It's pretty exciting to have the role, to be here at this time.

Don't be surprised by the possible accusations as the House holds a key hearing Monday. The House Judiciary Committee report released Saturday hints throughout that President Trump might have committed treason against the United States. The report outlines the dems case against the President. Thus far every attempt to take down this President has failed and now they shoot wildly, making more outrageous & unproven claims.

Now it seems that the radicals running the House Judiciary Committee intend to falsely accuse the President of the ultimate crime. Maybe this is why we've been hearing all these leftist tools talking of "Putin." To just make a random hateful accusation is beyond the pale. Pelosi, Schiff, Nadler and the anti-American squad should all be censured.

The House Judiciary Committee report redefines "treason" to include what it calls “betrayal,” and declares: “Although the Framers did not intend impeachment for good faith disagreements on matters of diplomacy, they were explicit that betrayal of the Nation through schemes with foreign powers justified that remedy.”

In other words they are telling us that a quid pro quo with the Ukraine = treason.

Of course normal human beings don't believe that, but hate-filled progressives will keep repeating it until we are all totally repulsed by them. We will find out more tomorrow as Jerry Nadler deliberately scheduled the proceedings dealing with the so called "evidence for impeachment" to conflict with the Justice Department's IG Report, which is being released tomorrow. Nadler & Pelosi are crafty that way. Let's not forget that only last week we witnessed Adam Schiff s ubpoena & release the call records of attorneys, Congressmen & journalists.

sUy9zcrY?format=jpg&name=small

In the meantime public opinion is starting to turn against them:

An Emerson poll released two weeks ago found support for impeachment has dropped from 48% to 43% since October, while opposition to impeachment has risen from 44% to 45%.

Independents stand out in the shift, with 49% opposing impeachment and only 34% supporting impeachment. In October, 48% of independents supported impeachment and 39% opposed.

https://emersonpolling.reportablenews.com/pr/november-national-poll-support-for-impeachment-declines-biden-and-sanders-lead-democratic-primary

And then there is this:

JOyDFt8P?format=jpg&name=small

Today CNN host Dana Bash, in a rare moment of acting like a journalist, put Chairman Nadler on the spot and Nadler showed even CNN's dwindling followers what he's made of:

Bash: “I want you to listen to something you said during the impeachment of Bill Clinton in 1998.”

“They must never be a narrowly voted impeachment or an impeachment substantially supported by one of our major political parties and largely opposed by the other. Such an impeachment would lack legitimacy and produce divisiveness and bitterness in our politics for years to come,” Nadler said in the 1998 clip.

Bash: “So right now you’re moving forward against impeachment without support from one Congressional Republican. Is it fair to say that this impeachment, in your words back then, will provide divisiveness and bitterness for years to come?”

Nadler: “No, I think that what puts bitterness and divisiveness into our politics is the conduct of the president who questions the patriotism of people who don’t agree with him, who calls political opponents human scum, who talks about the fake press, who derides the judiciary, who attacks all of our Democratic institutions”

Bash: “So you are willing to impeach the president with no Republican votes, correct?”

Nadler: “We’re going to impeach the president".... “If we impeach the president, we’ll impeach him on adequate and urgent grounds to defend our Democratic Republic.”

Bash: “And if there are no Republican votes — so be it?”

Nadler: “It is up to them if they want to be patriots or partisans"

Beyond the hypocrisy note the slip of the tongue where Nadler says we are going to impeach then in the next breathe corrects himself with "if we impeach".   These are disgusting human beings who have no business serving in congress. Let's see to it that they are voted out in 2020.

After all this drama Trump will not be removed from office, and the Dems like an electable candidate.

Good luck going forward.

Well, we'll soon find out about the IG report,

late-breaking news. from the NYtimes

WASHINGTON — Attorney General William P. Barr recently approved making public new details about a former F.B.I. informant at the heart of conservatives’ allegations about the Russia investigation, deciding to release information that had been blacked out in a highly anticipated inspector general’s report due out on Monday.

A representative from the office of the Justice Department inspector general, Michael E. Horowitz, told the former F.B.I. informant, Christopher Steele, on Sunday that the Justice Department had decided to allow for the release of the information, two people briefed on the situation said late on Sunday.

Mr. Steele was given no details about the information itself, nor was he told how it would affect the report’s portrayal of him, the people said. Mr. Horowitz is expected to be critical of Mr. Steele, a British former spy who compiled a dossier of salacious, unverified information about President Trump. F.B.I. officials relied to some degree on the dossier to seek a court order for a wiretap of a former Trump campaign adviser , and the president’s allies have seized on the issue to make broad claims about the sprawling Russia investigation.

The notice to Mr. Steele on the eve of the report’s release was highly unusual. Like the other witnesses interviewed for the inspector general’s report, Mr. Steele had earlier reviewed the findings that are pertinent to him, and he was given a chance to comment on them. In this case, Mr. Horowitz’s office did not detail for him the additional information and gave him no opportunity to respond for the report to be released on Monday.

Barr is a whack job that thinks presidential powers are untouchable. He thinks a president is a king while in office.

He has a history of cleaning up after republican presidents and had a hand in giving pardons to the people involved in the Iran-Contra affairs.

Funny that the people that supposedly want to drain the swamp are happy and put all their faith in a man that has a history of covering things up and getting people off.

Why do you support a known liar, crook, bigot , and moron to be president of the United States?  Are you proud of that?

As we've discussed repeatedly, I don't support Trump.  I voted against the Yankee Asshole.

I oppose idiotic fuckwittery.  I oppose brainless hysteria.  I heap scorn and derision on anyone who is so pathetically weak that they let their emotions override their reason.  That includes those who are so out of control that they declare anyone who falls short of their own level of hysteria to be some sort of enemy.

Such people are dangers to modern civilization and should be ostracized from the community like the lepers of old, lest spread their disease to others.  Unlike lepers, these are disgusting, sickly people who eagerly choose this infection and then wallow in their own emotional illness because they lack the fortitude to choose reason.

So your turn.

Why do you allow your hatred of a man who has almost no influence on your daily life to drive you to such an emotional state that you abandon those things you would otherwise hold dear?

Let's see, nearly all of the FBI executives who handled the Russia/Trump counter intelligence investigation have left the bureau. Some have been fired. Others have resigned under intense scrutiny. What Hunter Biden did differs from what Joe Biden did. Joe Biden got a prosecutor fired. He admitted it. That's all there is to Joe Biden's involvement. We all know it. Progressives have to build on that with what others were thinking and trying to do.

See, that is not true.  Biden was doing the business of the USA and our allies removing a corrupt Ukrainian prosecutor who was NOT investigating corruption.  Biden wasn't doing anything on his personal behalf, he was acting in his official capacity.  The Burisma crap has already been investigated and nothing was there.  If we are going to look at political spawn that is something that needs to include the Trump family and others in congress, senate and appointees.  Nothing to do with the impeachment except as an excuse to go after Biden and deflect from Trump's crimes.  Republicans are taking Putin's lies and using them to defend Trump at the expense of OUR country and the Ukraine and the benefit to Russia.  Allowing them to dodge responsibility for interfering in 2016 and allowing them to continue right now and into 2020.

There was an entire scheme to with hold the aid

In a largely overlooked portion of his testimony, one of the Democrats’ star witnesses stated that the National Security Council found that the 55-day pause in U.S. military aid to Ukraine was   lawful .

“There was an opinion, legal opinion, rendered that   the hold was legal ,” Army Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Vindman told the House Intelligence Committee on November 19."

"Trump told Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky by phone, “ I would like you to do us a favor ” and examine alleged Ukrainian interference in the 2016 election, what he suspected to be Ukrainian hacking of DNC computers (atop Russian skullduggery), and corruption accusations against the Bidens.   This request   conformed to America’s Treaty with Ukraine on Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters. President Clinton signed this pact in July 1998. The Senate ratified it in October 2000.

The U.S. and Ukraine agreed to “ provide mutual assistance   … in connection with the investigation, prosecution, and prevention of offenses, and in proceedings related to criminal matters.”

Clinton , through a lawyers office, contracted for opposition research on Trump. At that time she was unaware of a "Steele Dossier".  Steele was also not a government official of a foreign country.

Correct

At that time she was unaware of a "Steele Dossier".

And when she was aware of it they used it.

Steele was also not a government official of a foreign country.

He was a former British Intelligence officer. Between 2014 and 2016, Steele created over 100 reports on Russian and Ukrainian issues, which were read within the US State Department. His information for the infamous Dossier supposedly came from Russian sources.

By the way, point out where she stood on a stage and asked a foreign government to steal Trump's private emails or papers (as he did to her).

That is a blatant lie:  Candidate Trump said “Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing, I think you will probably be rewarded mightily by our press.”

You know, the e-mails that Hillary had destroyed after they were subpoenaed, with Obama's FBI giving the man who destroyed them immunity from prosecution!

Oh, that's right, shut then down and then seat your counsel as a witness and then have him walk up to the dais and grill his fellow witness.

None of the "witnesses" today were there during the commission of the crime, they were attorneys for both parties. Trying to claim you can't call the fellow parties attorney because they were a "witness" to the preceding's previously is ridiculous. It's not as if the opposing sides attorney can be categorized the same way a mere witness to a crime might be. So it's obvious that the Democrats aren't calling someone who is actually "testifying" aka "I saw the defendant do 'etc.' ", they are merely testifying as to the process so far.

If I had someone who says they saw me pick my nose and eat it, tell the judges everything they saw, then they got up and were one of the judges, well obviously that would be improper. A witnesses testifying as to a crime being committed also being one of the judges of the crime? Totally improper. Now, if you're going to call one of the jurors from a grand jury and ask them to testify as to what they saw during the grand jury, why do we have a problem with this? He's not a partial party that supposedly saw the key event and thus could testify to something he didn't really see. The Democrat attorney was simply testifying as to what he saw during the testimony and procedural testimony, but that would effect in any way the actual State department employee testimony of the facts so far established.

Final Thoughts

The hearing debacle

Today's journey into Jerry Nadler's dystopian reality show left us all angry and once again bitterly divided. The affront to human decency began with the openly partisan witness/counsel/interrogator Barry Berke calling the President of the United States a "clear & present danger." He then engaged in a 30 minute tirade from the witness chair, without ever being sworn in. He then got to grill his fellow witnesses for another 40 minutes or so before leaving the hearing room.

We were then subjected to a day of bitter partisan bickering about the monstrous act the President committed, the rules adopted by Nadler for this particular hearing and the fact that Adam Schiff was not available for questioning. We were all left wondering what comes next as even Nadler dosen't seem to know. Unlike the powerful Articles of Impeachment which would have been used against Richard Nixon, we haven't got a clue as to what the Articles will be on this one.  One thing is for sure - as soon as Pelosi knows she has the votes - a vote on the Articles of Impeachment will be taken, as public support for impeachment is collapsing.

The IG Report (Part II)

The long awaited IG report was kind of a mixed bag for everyone. The big winner was Carter Page. He was totally exonerated. He was never a Russian agent nor should have he been used the way he was by the FBI.

We learned that the FBI left out vital information in order to keep getting warrants to spy on Page.

We learned that the FBI uned various informants to keep tabs on the Trump campaign.

FBI officials misled the FISA Court.

Most important of all - Both AG Barr and US Attorney Durham disagreed with some of the IG findings. That is totally understandable. IG Horowitz ran a very limited investigation into the DOJ only. He could not even interview those no longer working within the Department. Durham, on the other hand, has broad powers to investigate all the intelligence agencies and convene Grand Juries and prosecute individuals. He need not worry about colleagues within the DOJ or the disposition of liberal DC juries.
