Iran Puts $80M Bounty on Trump’s Head for Soleimani Hit
If there were any doubt about whom the mullahs wanted assassinated, the statement concluded, “Anyone who brings us the head of this yellow-haired lunatic, we would give him $80 million on behalf of the great Iranian nation.” London-based Iran reporter M. Hanif Jazayeri reported on the bounty and insisted that Iran’s people celebrated the death of Soleimani.

So the terrorist regime in Iran is calling for the assassination of our elected President and offered a bounty to whomever does it.  That’s typical of that regime.  Most Iranians celebrated the death of the terrorist who so ruthlessly repressed them.  This is a chance for America’s progressive left to stand with America and our elected government against an enemy terrorist regime attempting to destabilize our democracy by trying to assassinate  our President.

S E E D E D   C O N T E N T

The mullahs of Iran have placed an $80 million bounty on the head of President Donald Trump in revenge for the hit that killed Quds Force leader Qasem Soleimani. Iranian state television announced the bounty, framing it as an offer on behalf of the Iranian people.

“If everyone anywhere in the world supports our initiative in Mashhad, on behalf of all of Iran’s people - 80 million Iranians - and each puts aside $1 US, it would equal $80 million,” the report said. “And we would give this $80 million, on our own behalf, as a gift to anyone who brings the head of the person who ordered the murder of the grand figure of our revolution.”

If there were any doubt about whom the mullahs wanted assassinated, the statement concluded, “Anyone who brings us the head of this yellow-haired lunatic, we would give him $80 million on behalf of the great Iranian nation.”

London-based Iran reporter M. Hanif Jazayeri reported on the bounty and insisted that Iran’s people celebrated the death of Soleimani. ”Iran's regime just announced an $80 million bounty for anyone who brings the head of [Donald Trump] for killing Soleimani,” Jazayeri tweeted. “PS: Iran's ppl, however, are overjoyed at Soleimani's death. As the #IranProtests have shown, they long for an end to the mullahs' tyranny.”

Trump ordered the hit on Soleimani after Iran-backed Iraqi militias besieged the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad. The Quds Force leader directed Iran’s paramilitary influence campaigns outside the borders of the Islamic Republic, including terroristic efforts against protesters in the Syrian Civil War. The Pentagon claimed intelligence showed Soleimani ordered the attack on the embassy, which was arguably an act of war.

Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei vowed “severe revenge” for the hit on the Quds Force leader. It seems unlikely Iran will declare war, but this bounty is the first of its retaliatory efforts.

Correction: The original version of this article claimed that Iran's government placed the bounty on Trump's head. An unnamed eulogist offered the bounty at Soleimani's funeral, and it does not represent the official position of Iran's government.

So, Iranians in London are today celebrating the elimination of the world's number 1 terrorist Qasem Soleimani.

Soleimani was a vicious criminal who massacred hundreds of thousands in the region & assisted the crackdown on the #IranProtests. The people of Iran are glad he's gone

The thing that’s sad is that if anyone tries it it will likely be an American that makes the attempt to cash in on that bounty.  What a way to undo the 2016 election.

Good Lord, C4P!

Have you ever looked up "Iran"? A little less than two and a half times the area of Texas, and almost three times the population. Obviously the US military could destroy Iran's in little time... but then what? Iran is more than twice Iraq in both area and population. We were in Iraq for fifteen years, with Iran being the ultimate "winner".

"Regime change"? That has worked s-o-o-o-o well for us in the Middle East. We supported Saddam... until we didn't... We installed the Shah! Oh wait... that didn't end all that well, did it?

For pity's sake, C4P! Think! What is the next step?

I didn’t say anything about a war.  Especially not a ground war.  Decapitating their government in full by air attack and special forces and destruction of their nuclear ☢️ program and asserts also by MOAB and letting their people put together a new government while keeping their economy intact on their own is doable.  The clerics losing their power or lives and the people would turn on the regime internal oppressors.

That was the topic of my comment (to which you are replying) and the topic of Texan's comment (to which I was replying). I think that's a valid criticism of that regime. The United States for years has recognized Iran as the #1 sponsor of terrorism in the world. Considering the topic of the seed, it seems like a natural sub-topic.

I'm not sure what you're thinking of in that regard Perrrie.

But I just did something that's a bit"politically incorrect" here-- I actually looked at the seeded article (which falsely claimed Iran put out a bounty).

As far as I was concerned, something about that claim (Iran putting out a bounty) just didn't pass "the smell test".. .

Why did I look-- because of other statements Iran has made. And what did I find-- the original story was a hoax!

(At least they had the sense to mention it):

Correction: The original version of this article claimed that Iran's government placed the bounty on Trump's head. An  unnamed eulogist  offered the bounty at Soleimani's funeral, and it does not represent the official position of Iran's government.

How about critics/haters who disbelieve everything a person says . . .

Prior to the 2016 election day, there was overwhelming evidence that Donald Trump is a habitual liar, a crook, a bigot, and a moron. Not suspicions, evidence.  Nonetheless enough people ignored reality and voted him in on the theory that the other person was "worse".

Our national mistake has condemned this present batch of Americans to harsh judgement by history. If the country survives.

You 100% ignored everything in the comment you are replying to.

Don’t ask me. Trump is your deity.

Not hardly. Now that we have that settled, is it possible to have a conversation? Or will you go on dismissing my point of view because you think I worship Trump? It is easier to demonize someone than to listen to them, I guess.

It's your responsibility to explain both his words and his actions.

I have no such responsibility.

You'll glide away on a pirouette

Nope. Still here. Now what? You go cry in the corner? Or talk like an adult?

Sure, you call him a liar 6 days a week and twice on Sunday. I get it. But he says something like he's going to bomb cultural sites and you just believe? Why? Why wouldn't he be lying about that, too?

This is not going to end well for anyone if calmer heads don't prevail on both sides but especially for Iran.   The dirty deeds they've been spreading the world over for nearly 50 years are finally starting to come due

Sadly there is a large group in this country who are so TDS ridden they are actually rooting for a very terror complicit Iran on this one.   Never thought i'd see the day for something like that to happen in the US.   Amazing!

Quell - put an end to (a rebellion or other disorder), typically by the use of force:"extra police were called to quell the disturbance"

Kwell - a preparation of lindane (trade name Kwell) that is used to kill lice and itch mites; available in cream or shampoo trademark - a formally registered symbol identifying the manufacturer or distributor of a product lindane - a white crystalline powder used as an agricultural insecticide.

You spelled it right only if you have lice.

Naive?   For a large group of "Americans" to be supporting a terrorist nations interest over their own country?   Yeah i meant it and don't bother trying to rationalize away that somehow that isn't happening.   Because it most certainly is.

This is a lot like all the people out there that have a fake respect for the military and Vets.   They are easy to pick out.   The say how they support Vets and the Military because that's the in thing to do these days but deep down they really despise us.   Hillary is a good example of that.   She despises anything military.   She doesn't even lie about it that well.

Frankly, if someone did manage to take him out, it's highly unlikely they'd be able to deliver his head to anyone. These mullahs seem to have about as much brainpower as Trump - meaning, none at all.

George Lopez doubled down Sunday on the bounty Iran has put on President Trump — for half.
The comedian replied to another Instagram user’s post Sunday that Iran had offered $80 million to any person who assassinated Mr. Trump’s “during the televised funeral of General #QasemSoleimani after he was assassinated last week.”
Mr. Lopez replied: “We’ll do it for half.”
