Dictatorial Michigan Governor Smears Lockdown Protesters As Racists
Democrat governors are determined to extend the lockdowns for as long as possible in order to crush the economy and damage President Trump's reelection chances but for those who can see that the models have been wrong, they are as mad as hell and not going to take it anymore. So this morning, the dictatorial governor of Michigan Gretchen Whitmer showed up on CNN's "State Of The Union" to accuse protesters in her state of - you guessed it - racism.

This article is so right on.  The blue bi coastal elites had their plan and and dirty unwashed country hicks messed it all up.  Now that their attempt to guilt trip Heartland America into not reopening our economy for fear of killing others to stay in solidarity with being forced to share their pain and to forever kill the Trump economy before the election, the elites have played the race card in an attempt to smear us back into shutdown since their initial guilt trip didn’t work. The Sunday morning "news" shows typically set up the propaganda points that will drive the week's news cycle and the war on dissent has officially begun.

With the anti-American lockdowns over the coronavirus panic increasingly looking to have been an unnecessary overreaction by government, citizens have started taking to the streets to protest the decrees by tyrannical officials.

Democrat governors are determined to extend the lockdowns for as long as possible in order to crush the economy and damage President Trump's reelection chances but for those who can see that the models have been wrong, they are as mad as hell and not going to take it anymore.

So this morning, the dictatorial governor of Michigan Gretchen Whitmer showed up on CNN's "State Of The Union" to accuse protesters in her state of - you guessed it -  racism

Via The Hill,  "Whitmer says Michigan protests 'depicted some of the worst racism and awful parts of our history'" :

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) said protests inside the state capitol last week, featuring demonstrators with assault weapons, swastikas and Confederate flags, depicted some of the “worst racism and awful parts” of the nation’s history.

“Some of the outrageousness of what happened at our capitol depicted some of the worst racism and awful parts of our history in this country,” she said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union.”

“The behavior you've seen in all of the clips is not representative of who we are in Michigan,” she added.

The protesters were demonstrating against Whitmer’s statewide stay-at-home order put in place amid the coronavirus pandemic in an effort to mitigate the spread of the potentially fatal virus.

What Whitmer didn't bother mentioning nor did the whiny Jake Tapper confront her with is that the swastikas that she complained about were on signs comparing her to Nazis.

On Friday, President Trump tweeted his support of those in Michigan who are exercising their constitutional right to peacefully protest.

Per Trump:

"The Governor of Michigan should give a little, and put out the fire. These are very good people, but they are angry. They want their lives back again, safely! See them, talk to them, make a deal."

With the inevitable playing of the race card, the predictable media line of attack is going to be to breath new life into the Charlottesville  "some fine people on both sides" lie in which Trump's actual comments were taken out of context.

Even Tapper admitted it last year:

As for Whitmer, she has become the poster child for liberal totalitarianism for her punishing and arbitrary restrictions which have forbidden Michiganders of purchasing garden plants and seeds while protecting abortion mills.

This has naturally led to protests from citizens whose lives are being destroyed by this cruel woman who is using the crisis to audition for the vice presidency.

Whitmer has now used the protests as an excuse for collective punishment of residents by extending the lockdowns despite resistance that has spread to the state legislature which is now suing her for overreach.

And she isn't backing down one inch but rather leading the national crusade by the leftist elite to crush resistance to Democrat tyranny.

The coronavirus gave many of the so-called leaders in this country an opportunity to reveal their true selves. Many may have suspected before, but now all doubt has been removed: They’re vicious tyrants.

Across the country, many mayors, governors, and congressional leaders have demonstrated just what control freaks they really are. Gavin Newsom, head tyrant of California, has closed all beaches. No, you can’t enjoy the waves, salt air, and sunlight—all virus destroyers—because he said so. He’s going to tell all Californians what they can and cannot do. Shut up and obey!

Michigan’s governor Gretchen Whitmer is a real piece of work. She denounced those who protested the lockdown as ‘racist.’ She made sure every Walmart store taped off their gardening sections because she considers them ’ non-essential.’ She gets to decide what you can and cannot buy.

New York City Mayor Bill De Blasio is having a field day. He wants his city locked down until at least July. Probably after July 4th so Americans can’t get together and celebrate Independence Day. The mayor crossed the line by threatening Jews who were holding prayer meetings and funerals. He instructed the police to ‘round them up!’

Many sheriffs and policemen have been behaving disgracefully. I saw a video in which the local sheriff and his deputy threatened a mother because her child went next door to play with a neighbor child. Oh no, can’t have that kind of freedom! The sheriff could have ignored it enforcing such an unconstitutional directive, but no…they love arresting, fining, and yelling at the sheeple. They are in tyrant heaven.

The worst tyrant of them all is the sociopath Bill Gates. His 100 billion dollar fortune has enabled him to greatly influence the medical field in a global manner, even though Bill is not trained in medicine. He doesn’t have a medical degree or even a college degree. He does have experience in dirty dealing. He was a ruthless businessman who shafted other programmers as he cobbled together a buggy and virus-riddled windows operating system. Now that squeaky-voiced geek…that nerd…that unelected ‘authority’ … that TYRANT…wants to control us all through a vile vaccine with built-in tracking technology. If you don’t take his shot, you won’t be able to travel or work. We must not let Kill Bill have his way.

A horrific and dystopian future awaits us all if we don’t start pushing back against the tyrants. We don’t need their permission to be human beings.

Gavin Newsom has closed all beaches.

He did open the one in Newport Beach for walking, exercising, and surfing but not for sunbathing or gathering in large groups.  The self entitled residents decided that they did not have to adhere to the guidelines of this trial basis so the beach was closed again.  The people blew it, not the governor.

Heck, now the bigots want to equate a word which most of us have never seen or heard before with our resistance to the elitist lockdown

I'm not even sure there was one. What I do know is that there are 22 million unemployed with bills to pay and children to feed. Small businesses have been destroyed. The food chain is breaking. Schools are closed. That John, is the reason you are seeing protest over shutdowns which were originally supposed to be for a few weeks and have now dragged on into May.

Where is the compassion for them?

WOW! So this is an elitist lockdown and not a safe and sane measure to save lives?

So just like anthropogenic global warming you consider covid-19 to be some sort of "elitist" plot to discredit the president?

From what I've seen of his daily coronavirus briefings, all Trump does is discredit himself with his every idiotic word, inaccurite statements, insane expressions and Hitlerish gestures behind his podium.

Seems all he does is praise his poor, late, slow response and trash scientists for disagreeing with his ignorance.

The battle flag of the Confederacy didn't enslave anyone.

Why would anyone say something so silly?

Do you know what this is?

We hold as undeniable truths that the governments of the various States, and of the confederacy itself, were established exclusively by the white race, for themselves and their posterity; that the African race had no agency in their establishment; that they were rightfully held and regarded as an inferior and dependent race, and in that condition only could their existence in this country be rendered beneficial or tolerable. That in this free government all white men are and of right ought to be entitled to equal civil and political rights; that the servitude of the African race, as existing in these States, is mutually beneficial to both bond and free, and is abundantly authorized and justified by the experience of mankind, and the revealed will of the Almighty Creator, as recognized by all Christian nations

I guess not.

The confederates in Texas invoked the name of the Christian God to justify the slavery of Africans in their state.   Whod a thunk it?

The passage I quoted is from the secession document adopted by the Texas legislature in early 1861, announcing they were joining the Confederacy.

True.  We need to see another round of protests between now and May 15 and date her to not open up because of it.  They should be in her face non stop until she re opens and dare her to extend them further so that no matter when she opens up it will be because she gave in to pressure from the protesters.  This kind of petty banana republic tyrant needs to be opposed non stop so that no matter when she ever opens up her state it will be because she Gabe in to the people or she can keep her own supporters locked up forever too.

People can let their feelings about certain symbols enslave their opinions about people.

A flag is a symbol representing a group of people or nation. The confederate flag represents worthless piece of shit white supremacist losers who went to war over their perceived right to own other human beings like cattle. Anyone flying the confederate flag is saying they are a part of that disgusting racist legacy.

"The new Constitution has put at rest forever all the agitating questions relating to our peculiar institutions—African slavery as it exists among us—the proper status of the negro in our form of civilization. This was the immediate cause of the late rupture and present revolution."

"The prevailing ideas entertained by him and most of the leading statesmen at the time of the formation of the old Constitution were, that the enslavement of the African was in violation of the laws of nature; that it was wrong in principle, socially, morally and politically. It was an evil they knew not well how to deal with; but the general opinion of the men of that day was, that, somehow or other, in the order of Providence, the institution would be evanescent and pass away. [...] Those ideas, however, were fundamentally wrong. They rested upon the assumption of the equality of races. This was an error."

"Our new government is founded upon exactly the opposite ideas; its foundations are laid, its cornerstone rests, upon the great truth that the negro is not equal to the white man; that slavery, subordination to the superior race, is his natural and normal condition" - Vice President of the Confederacy Alexander Stephens - March 21, 1861

That is what the civil war was fought over and what the confederate flag represented then, and that is what the confederate flag represents now. Anyone telling you different is intentionally lying to you because they're too cowardly to accept the truth.

It actually takes practice and lots of repetitions to instinctively cough or sneeze into your elbow. Since most folk don't cough or sneeze regularly, coughing into ones hand is a difficult habit to break.

It also takes a lot of conscious determination to not touch your face. We humans unconsciously touch our faces around 20 times per hour.

Bought a case of 500 individually wrapped isopropyl alcohol screen cleaners last year for my touchscreen communication devices. They have now been retasked as hand and face cleaners for the rare occasion that I drive to town.

As an ex-paramedic and ex-environmental scientist I have involved myself with the local volunteer fire department/ambulance service as a trainer from time to time. They used to think that I was a bit nuts for stressing glove and mask protocol. They don't think that anymore.

So many positive tests coming out of the WH.  And on Friday a bunch of gop had a meeting with Trump, no masks, not enough distancing, face touching.....and for a group who like to call this pandemic a hoax, they test everybody who comes in.  And if positive, remove them.  Now why can't the REST OF US get the same?  Why does Trump test everybody at the same time he downplays it for everybody else?  Why not just let the positive person interact as usual the same way we are all forced to do without testing? A lot of trouble for a hoax.

Another problem with all these political rallies to 'open up'.  Most don't wear masks or social distance, making it more likely to spread.  If y'all really want to open up people have to feel safe. And a bunch of spitting morons yelling doesn't make anybody want to go shop or eat out with people like that.  A majority of Americans don't want to open up until they are safe  And they don't think that is today.
