The Silent Majority Can Be Silent No More
America is now the target of an intense spiritual onslaught -- brought on by its own rampant descent into decadence. The left has been at war with America as founded for decades, and it has made great progress in transforming our culture and institutions. Leftists are activism-oriented and relentless. They pursue their goals 24/7, exhausting their less activist and less calculating opponents, and advance their agenda by sheer attrition.

David Limbaugh is exactly right!  The silent majority will be silent no more.  It’s time to take our country back while restoring law and order through the rule of law in our exceptional nation founded by divine providence.  It’s time to expose the hard core progressive left for how anti America and America’s founding and constitution they really are.

Lately it seems that we conservatives can't win even when we're winning. But the country is under siege, so we cannot indulge the luxury of being discouraged.

This year has been one body blow after another to the nation we love. First, there was the coronavirus, and we thought, "How can this get any worse?" Then came the economic shutdown and the incalculable pain and suffering it brought. Next were the riots, the radicals' unopposed seizure of a section of Seattle and the maniacal efforts throughout the country to defund the police. Now a series of rulings from the "conservative" Supreme Court are wreaking untold havoc on the Constitution and the rule of law.

It wouldn't take a Christian fanatic or an excitable conspiracist to conclude that America is now the target of an intense spiritual onslaught -- brought on by its own rampant descent into decadence.

The left has been at war with America as founded for decades, and it has made great progress in transforming our culture and institutions. Leftists are activism-oriented and relentless. They pursue their goals 24/7, exhausting their less activist and less calculating opponents, and advance their agenda by sheer attrition.

But a more important factor in the left's success is the depressing naivete of too many conservatives about its ultimate aims. If you underestimate the extremism and determination of your opponents, how can you counter them?

Perhaps one silver lining emerging from the Democrats' enabling of the proliferating lawlessness in America is that unsuspecting patriots are finally awakening to the horrors facing us and the left's cynical exploitation of them.

The virus isn't red or blue, but the left immediately weaponized it against President Donald Trump, their endless efforts to remove him having failed. From the beginning of this scourge, it was obvious they were more interested in demonizing Trump than in defeating the virus.

The media and the Democratic Party bludgeoned Trump instead of working with him to combat the virus. They excoriated him for responding too slowly when, had he listened to them, he wouldn't have implemented his travel bans, which objectively slowed the spread in the United States.

They savaged him for defying the medical experts, when he was following their advice at every turn, including in shutting down the economy. Though they have shut the economy down even more severely in their blue-controlled states, they preposterously blamed the inevitable economic downturn on him.

Though Trump and virtually all of America condemned the senseless killing of George Floyd, the extreme left seized the moment not merely to protest officer misconduct but to condemn the nation for "systemic racism," "white privilege" and "white supremacy."

Leftist activists converted the protests into riots, looting and violence, and Democratic leaders refused to condemn it and instead fanned the flames lit by the organized mob. They have joined the movement to topple monuments and erase all other unpleasant aspects of American history -- as if they never occurred.

This is nothing new for the Democratic Party. It was shocking that its key figures dared to publicly support some of the certifiably insane provisions of the Green New Deal -- provisions too fantastical for even infants to endorse. It was surreal that some of their leading presidential candidates openly supported the abolition of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. But this widespread move to defund the police takes the insanity to French Revolution-crazy levels.

How can parents not fear for their kids' future? How can an entire political party give itself over to a lawless mob? How can it condone the systematic suppression of political speech by Hollywood, the corporate left and social media giants?

Do rank-and-file liberals want to live in a country whose culture destroys people who won't toe the leftist line? Ironically, it will only be a matter of time before the mob they legitimized will turn on them, as surely as the French revolutionaries turned on their mastermind Maximilien Robespierre. For an unquenchable mob hellbent on eradicating all traditions, systems and laws, nothing is sacred, and no one is immune. Examples already abound. Just ask actor Mark Duplass and author J.K. Rowling. How can anyone be blind to this fascism? How, indeed, unless we really are witnessing a raging spiritual war.

Note to conservatives: If you have been casually dismissing leftist extremism, maybe now you will wake up. Can't you hear the alarms blaring?

Too many on the right also mistakenly believe that this Democratic frenzy and leftist unrest is all based primarily on their contempt for President Donald Trump. He has made them crazy, and they'll do anything to get rid of him. Then everything will return to normal.

Yes, he makes them crazier, more desperate and more unreasonable -- mainly because he's fighting them hammer and tongs -- but he didn't make them leftists, and leftists don't need any prompting to unleash their hell on America. It stands for everything they hate.

With or without Trump, their goals remain the same. But without Trump, their chances of finally undoing America immeasurably increase.

I began this column saying we can't afford to be discouraged. We can't. But that doesn't mean we can afford to be blind to the gravity of the threats we face. Let's wake up and rededicate ourselves to preventing the destruction of America. Don't ever lose hope. My bet is the silent majority is bigger than ever and that we'll see that in November. Stay in the fight like your children's future depends on it -- because it does.

America is now the target of an intense spiritual onslaught -- brought on by its own rampant descent into decadence. It began most recently when millions of Americans turned their back on decency, honesty, and the traditions of American societal standards of compassion and normalcy and elected a degenerate liar, crook, bigot, moron and cheat to America's highest office.

Interesting how someone deleted the entire 3.2 thread likely because it was exposing them and proving they are not the "silent majority". They didn't even want to leave any evidence of that thread having existed, it just jumps to 3.3

First, your supposition that gun owners are all stupid rubes isn’t even close but you keep under estimating them.   I love it when the shear stupidity of comments like that is exposed and the people making them have another one of their many  “doh” moments.

Second, what state house was “taken over?”     Certainly not MICHIGAN if that’s one you are talking about.     No matter how much grumbling Gretchen or no-no Nessel whined about it everything there was done within the law.    Unlike the anarchists in Seattle that I’m sure you’ve supported and are now starting to kill each other off.    Everything they did more or less broke laws and yet no admonishments for them?    You decide to pick on law abiding citizens instead?     Classic progressive logic there ....

I firmly believe they are the majority. They have been silenced and bullied by the enormous influence the minority on the left has acquired. The majority's only counter-punch will come at the ballot box and I can assure you that they are motivated. There are those on the left who know it and that is why they seek to nullify those votes with voter fraud. Mail in ballots & ballot harvesting will be the last shot for the left to try and stop the coming backlash.

As for this author, David Limbaugh - I couldn't agree more on everything he said.

The rampant decent into decadence has accelerated because so-called conservatives aren't conservative any longer.  Today's conservatives are so far left they are kissing their own backsides.

Today's conservatives have embraced the seven sins as measures of success and proclaim the seven virtues are some sort of socialist conspiracy.  Modern conservatives not only promote lust, gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, envy, and pride; modern conservatives reward those behaviors.  Mitt Romney is not a conservative; Mitt Romney is a champion of far left decadence.

Christians should be rejecting modern conservatism.  Christians should be embracing, promoting, and rewarding the seven virtues of chastity, temperance, charity, diligence, patience, kindness, and humility.  Modern conservatism has become anti-Christian.

Sadly, you probably really believe all that.

Considering they all worship a gold plated charlatan who embodies every one of those "virtues", why shouldn't people come to that reasonable conclusion?

Lying. Trump has lied over 18,000 times, not a peep of complaint from his supposedly "moral" Christian followers.

Coveting. Trump hasn't shut his slimy mouth about Obama since he took office, he's so desperate to steal the limelight and adoration Obama earned.

Whining. Besides the non-stop whining Trump tweets, his followers can't shut the fuck up with their incessant whining about "Never Trumpers", or how Flynn plead guilty twice but didn't mean it, or how Mueller or Comey or any number of civil servants doing their jobs must have had it in for Trump, or how antifa or BLM should be considered terrorist organizations even though they have a zero body count while the conservative right wing should be congratulated even though right wing extremists kill dozens and dozens of Americans every year.

Jealousy. "Black Lives Matter".... "NO! We can't let you say such a thing, you're leaving us out! We matter! You have to say 'All Lives Matter' damn it!"...

Ignorance. "Well, even though all evidence is to the contrary, let's just believe the earth is only 6,000 years old, because, you know, the bible said so!".

Self-absorption. "Black Lives Matter".... "NO! We can't let you say such a thing, you're leaving us out! We matter! You have to say 'All Lives Matter' damn it!"

Hypocrisy. "Nothing is more dangerous to liberty for all" says those demanding their right to discriminate against lgtbq Americans and are telling black Americans the systemic racism they face every day doesn't exist.

Putrid News does that to them.  Think about it.  They blame Trump for all the ills of this country.  Trump has only been in office for three and a half years and blacks have suffered 400 years of oppression, mostly from Democrats and fellow blacks.  The only people who show any resistance at all to the Marxist Black Lives Matter Group are us.  Have you heard any Democrats on here or anywhere criticize them or call them what they are, Marxists?

They're right up Obama's alley.  He's one of them, mentored by a communist, searching out Marxist professors and radical black students, as Biden would say, you know the deal or something like that.  And don't tell me, "Oh no, he's a capitalist".  Marxists are always capitalists.

Socialism, Communism, Fascism and all the others are for the masses or as I like to say, "Useful Idiots".  Capitalism is for the Socialist, Communist and Fascist or even the Capitalist.  Under a Capitalist society everyone has the opportunity to live the life of a Capitalist, but only living under a Capitalist society.

There's no opportunity to live that life under any of the others.

They live the lives of capitalists while those they rule over, with the exception of a few Oligarchs and Elites, as they would be known as in our society, are imprisoned under one of the "isms ".

They nearly had it made.  They had one foot in Utopia and the other was halfway through the door when Trump tripped them and they've been out of their minds ever since that day.

But you know what?  It's not Trump.  The people, not the people on here or most Democrats, but the Putrid News and the the Putrid Party leadership are really desperate.  They know the corruption they are guilty of and they know unless they can find some way to save themselves they are going to be exposed and that will pretty much be the end of the Putrid Party.  Even those good Democrats or at least those who still have a few functioning brain cells with kick them to the ditch.

Now take a look at these memes.

256

These people didn't just find out they had all these problems they are in such an uproar about in the last 3 years.  What have they been doing except enrich themselves for the last 33 to 60 years?  Why didn't the push to get rid of these statues during that time, since nothing has changed?  Why didn't Obama do something?

These people don't give a crap about you, me or anyone else.  Have you heard any one of them say something bad about all the poor people who have basically lost their lives, businesses or just the poor people who have been displaced and basically have had their lives destroyed.  I haven't heard a word for any of them.  They are focused on destroying everything the same as the Marxist BLM with their Fascist Antifa criminals.

256

Anyone with any sense at all should realize you can't close the country down for any length of time without it being profoundly detrimental to the economic health as well as the physical and mental health of the citizens.  The Putrid Party is all for that.  They don't care about you.  They have the money and they have the security to protect them.  You can go to hell.  When they get enough useful idiots supporting them, they will right out tell you that, right after they change the laws and make sure you can't do a damn thing about it.

256

Now how do we look back on Martin Luther King, Jr.?  Now how would Martin Luther King, Jr. feel about us if he could see us today?

Oh, I almost forgot.....

What a sack of shit. There's not a single fact in your entire sad long winded opinion. Trump has brought America closer to fascism than any other former President in history. That's the true threat to western democracy, and his sycophant followers are enabling him to do it.

Fascism: noun - a political philosophy, movement, or regime that exalts nation and often race (white nationalism) above the individual and that stands for a centralized  autocratic  government headed by a  dictatorial  leader , severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition.

"(Kim Jong Un) speaks and his people sit up at attention. I want my people to do the same.” - Dick-tater Donald

" Republicans feel that Social Media Platforms totally silence conservatives voices. We will strongly regulate, or close them down , before we can ever allow this to happen." - dirty Donald

" With all of the Fake News coming out of NBC and the Networks, at what point is it appropriate to challenge their License? " - Dick-tater Donald

" federal police violently broke up a peaceful protest just outside the White House, tear-gassing a group of about 1,000 demonstrators and then firing rubber bullets at them  so Trump could have an uninterrupted photo op  at a nearby church damaged in the weekend’s upheaval."

The fact that some are still whining and crying over their fantasy bullshit fear of "socialists" is just fucking sad and has ZERO evidence behind the lies. The "left" does not want socialism as anyone who even has a smidgen of education about what actual socialism is would tell you. But of course we just have a bunch of know nothing Trump defenders flinging whatever poo they can and getting cheers and likes from the regular crowd of sycophants determined to re-elect Trump because if they don't he's likely going to prison and the whole corrupt sham of an administration will be exposed. I'm sure they'll all tell us that they didn't really like Trump in the first place and his shitting on America was all the lefts fault be cause we weren't able to stop him. Actually taking responsibility for anything they do is anathema to them.

They blame Trump for all the ills of this country.

Wrong, we blame Trump for a tax cut during a booming economy where we should be paying down our debt rather than adding $1.9T to it. We blame Trump for an ill-conceived trade war that has devastated farmers, and driven manufacturing into recession. We blame Trump for the epic mismanagement of the pandemic. You only have to look to countries that handled it well to see how miserably we've done. Germany's population is considerably older than ours, yet their per capita death rate is 1/3 ours. The six Asian/Pacific countries that handled it even better have a death rate about 1/50th of ours, and, like Germany, their economies are not devastated and have already been re-opened safely.

A big problem with Trump is that everything he does is geared toward re-election. He doesn't give a shit about anyone or anything else. The inability to see this is mind boggling.

That’s what nearly four years of delusional behavior can do to a person.

I guess it’s time for more tax cuts to stimulate growth in the economy now...

Only a progressive would call vices virtues and then use transferancing to blame conservatives of following the progressives own vices.

Yes, I was uplifted watching this fool babble for 15 minutes about him trying to walk down a ramp last week.

I enjoyed him calling out the lamestream media for their obvious biases in their coverage of those events.  They deserved the public humiliation they received.

Turned it on for a few minutes before I started to taste puke. I won't be watching again.

I found his use of the term 'kung flu' particularly inspiring.

You had ought to watch sometime, you might learn some true facts instead of alternate ones

Millions watched the President speak!  4.5 million used live streaming including you tube and campaign sources and conservative internet sites, over half a million watched Fox Business Network and over 7.7 million watched live on Fox News Channel.  Then it re aired 2 more times on Fox later in the evening/ following morning.  Not sure what other networks carried it or how many watched C-SPAN but the rally was an overwhelming success.  The streaming and TV Viewership assures that public rallies however modified will continue
