Franklin Graham Warns of 'All-Out Socialism' If Americans Don't Vote and Pray in November

Graham is right. Americans have a lot to lose if the election in November goes wrong. We should all pray for our country and then vote to prevent a dark socialist future for ourselves.

Evangelist Franklin Graham said Monday the United States is in danger of becoming socialist if Americans don’t vote in November for leaders who “love this country, defend the Constitution” and “support law & order.”
Graham made the comments in a series of tweets. Although he didn’t mention specific candidates or parties by name, his comments were in line with his recent criticism of the Democratic party.
“The chaos erupting in cities controlled by liberal, socialist-leaning leadership should cause great concern,” Graham tweeted. “If this kind of leadership wins in local, state & national elections in November, we'll see more of this, which would lead to the demise of our nation as we know it.”

In a later tweet , Graham referenced comments from Jack Brewer, a former NFL player and a professor at the Fordham University Gabelli School of Business. Graham linked to an interview with Brewer, who told Fox News that Americans need to model the non-violent protests of the late Rep. John Lewis, who marched with Martin Luther King Jr.

And that's what we need to get back to in our nation. I think this is a time to reflect that as we mourn the loss of Congressman Lewis.”

We do need to pray for our nation for 2 Chronicles 7:13-15 solution to our national problems and avoid a slide into the evil of secular socialism.
Funny, but people have probably been praying for our nation since its inception. And yet, we continue to have problems. Seems like prayer isn't doing anything, other than making someone feel like they're doing something.
Also, this is another situation where prayer is expected to result in action. God is ostensibly omniscient; He already knows everything so no amount of prayer will change His mind. So if God is going to take an action (or not take an action) praying to Him is (logically) not going to make a difference.
Prayer tends to have a long track record of failure in that regard.
Indeed. Are we expected to think god will suddenly change his mind (or "Grand Plan") just because someone prays to him? But then, logic tends to be absent where religion is concerned. Prayer is a perfect example of that.
We live in a sinful world so there will always be problems. God his richly blessed this nation and will continue to do so as long as we seek it.
If no one in the country is worshiping, honoring, and praying then God will withhold the blessings He intended to give. God withheld blessings from Israel often when they turned away from Him and will now of we do that.
But omniscient God already knows what people will do. So if they stop praying in the future, God already knows this.
Then that makes your god useless and/or irrelevant.
It's the American people that made this country what it is.
Then we might be able to progress and advance farther than ever rather than being held back by superstition and Bronze Age mentality.

I have no doubt Biden will clear the 75 million voters mark this year while I doubt Trump will get even 60 million, far fewer than he was able to fool in 2016.
The wager is already the survival of America, is there really any need to bet more? Just because the 15,000 people who live in your town all have Trump signs on their lawn does not mean Trump is going to win. The vast majority of Americans in the last election and even more in this election will be voting to kick this numb nut moron out of the oval office and all the naysayer's will gnash their teeth and scream to high heaven about how unfair it is doing exactly what they've accused their opponents of doing for the last three and a half years. And rational sane Americans will breathe a sigh of relief and there will be mass celebration in most streets, accept for those towns that prefer to fly confederate flags and swastikas.

It was simply a poll showing a 50%-48% favorable job performance rating for our great and awesome President.
How many polls do you suppose show Trump in net unfavorable job performance ?
If you are going to put weight on polling, you should at least look at the mode, not the outlier. Wishful thinking often does not lead one to truth.

I’m looking at the daily tracking poll. The real clear average has been shrinking Biden’s once Dukakis sized lead.
Trump didn’t have that high a rating when he beat the witch to win the Presidency.
Trump only had about a 46% rating then. He currently has only about a 41%-43% rating. The highest he's been able to obtain during his presidency is only 49%. It's still not impressive.
Confirmation bias. You are looking for ways to justify your hope that Trump wins rather than objectively evaluating the evidence.
I am confident that if the polls were reversed you would be trashing Biden daily as a loser.
The reality is that Trump is behind. And underlying the polls there are factors at play. He has lost his biggest advantage: the economy. He has lost another big advantage: an electorate the feels comfortable. He used to be in the position to argue that his presidency has brought forth the ' greatest economy ever '
but now his best argument is that he will bring the economy back and Biden will not. But his failure to stabilize the USA during this pandemic (especially given his contradictory positions about the seriousness) is a net disadvantage. People are not comfortable; people are stressed out over the threat of getting sick and the hardships imposed as a result of dealing with the pandemic. And Trump gets all the blame because the PotUS always gets the blame and because other nations are doing substantially better than the USA in handling the pandemic. Biden has no blame for this.
For Trump to win, he needs people to again be comfortable (at least less uncomfortable). An uncomfortable electorate tends to change the leadership (not working with this guy, let's try the other guy).

What is the point if you believe God picks all nation's leaders? Praying is, by that logic, not going to do anything since an omniscient entity already knows everything. Voting will not either (unless you presume that God is driving your voting decision ... against free will).
If it happens that would be the case. It would signal that the angels holding back the winds of strife would soon begin to pull back from that, setting the final events before the 2nd coming into full motion and the world becomes ever more evil.
I’m heavily involved in the stock market and am anxiously watching it. Since I can retire in 1 yr 10 mo. to 6 yrs 10 mo. to 9 yrs 10 months 62-67-70, I’m in a moderately conservative position. If it is clear that Biden is going to win the night of Nov. 3rd/ early morning of Nov. 4th, I’m going to unload every thing and go Almost all cash, government bonds, and precious metals and make it to retirement on what I have now. I’m not going to take any risk at all with the left in control of all political power. Then I’ll transfer more of my traditional IRA and 403b into Roth format and pay taxes at this years rate instead of Biden’s when I actually retire.

If you haven't gotten to it by now, you never will.
Right now there is optimism that the covid will be reduced, the economy will be coming back strong, a vaccine just coming out or very soon and that Trump will win re election. If it does become clear that Trump is going to lose well before Election Day, I wont wait that long. I’m only in now because I believe he will be re elected. I believe that Biden and his friends who control him will do far more damage to the markets than Obama did with different policies affecting too many sectors.
I do believe in the 2nd coming and that it will happen in the near to mid term future (6 mo.-25 yrs) but no person knows the day nor the hour of it

There is so much crap passed about in the USA about socialism; it is amazing watching people simply repeat slogans and mantras without taking a moment to try to understand what they are talking about. For example, some people think that our military, the post office, etc. is socialism.

Even the most basic notion that socialism is the opposite of capitalism; that a system based on a capitalist economy cannot, by definition, be socialism escapes (it seems) most everyone. Public services is NOT a defining characteristic of socialism.

Social Security & Medicare changed the descent into poverty & disease that used to accompany getting old for the majority of Americans into a decent retirement.
Jesus said to help the poor, the sick, the hungry, & the homeless, or face dire consequences. Conservatives are constantly reducing, and would love to eliminate, the socialist programs TANF, Medicaid, SNAP, and housing assistance which greatly alleviate the poor's suffering. In the early 1900s, 53% of Americans were subsistence living, 1/3 of city dwellers were starving. The poor are much better off now, thanks to socialism.
The GI Bill was one of the biggest pieces of socialism ever. It pretty much created the middle class that conservatives love to reminisce about.
My point is the Graham is not in *any* sense a follower of the teachings of Jesus. He supports a party that, at every turn, undoes, or works to undo any of the polices that support the path provided by Jesus. The Golden Rule appears in at least the Gospels of Luke & Matthew. Yet conservatives, through bigoted laws & executive orders, promote discrimination against Muslims, immigrants, and LGBT people. No, they aren't. All government action is not "socialism". If you define that as socialism, than every government in the history of the world was "socialist."
