It Ain't Rubik, but it's Definitely Cubic! ~ Creative Arts Three Day Weekend
I've been trying to get an image in this form for about a month … mostly without success … but I finally figured it out. It's cubic.
I'm happy with the results.

And we're back!
Your abstract cube is a truly magnificent masterpiece, Mac. And I am happy with the results as well.
Have two more to be posted; I appreciate your kind comment, RW.
You are most welcome, Mac, and they are well deserved for such beautiful and unique artwork.
I'm looking forward to seeing and enjoying the other two paintings. I truly enjoy your very interesting and magical expressions of your imagination that you put into your artwork of all kinds.
You should be happy with the results. The cube is totally cool.
it triggered a flashback to '73.
Outstanding!

Early morning on the golf course. Stone Creek, Ocala FL.
The photo was taken by my golfing neighbor.
Arvo....love misty mornings and evenings..
Beautiful. Especially the second picture.
I realized that I like the first picture as much as the second one!
I remember golfing on mornings like that.
Lost so many golf balls that way. You would think a solid white golf ball would stand out on dew covered grass. At least leave a trail in the morning dew to point the way.
Almost looks like a person forlornly looking for their lost ball off the the far right in the picture; golf cart stationed strategically under a tree to the middle.
My favourite beach at dawn.....

Did not take any of these photos...
This one I did..
And mine as well..
Great photos all, shona.
Morning...just wish to dedicate the photo of my favourite beach at dawn to Richard. Just found out he no longer walks this earth as life became all to much and he ended it Thursday...
This is the third person I have lost in three weeks I use to work with...two their own doing and one to a heart attack..
Glad we crossed paths guys on this road of life...
Jarrod, Richard and David...
Good start!
Andriy Khlyvnyuk of the group Boombox was touring the US when the Russian invaded Ukraine. Andriy cut the tour short and returned to Ukraine and joined the Territorial Defense Force. A few days later he made a video of himself singing a famous Ukrainian song in the main square of Kyiv. Pink Floyd saw the video got in contact with Andriy and recorded their first song since 1994. Andriy is recovering from wounds in defense of his country and gave his blessing to the video. The proceeds of the song will go to Ukraine Relief.
Stay strong Ukraine...
Very apropos for what is happening in the world today, Kavika, thank you for sharing it with us.

Driving on the hills of Duluth must be interesting.
I tend to avoid that whenever possible.
Exploring the possibilities … having no idea as to their viabilities.

Have you considered having the cubes fabricated as sculptural pieces? Possibly in plexiglass or something similar with the images imprinted on them.
I will look into that; I wonder if a 3D printer could produce that. Thanks for the idea. It’s doable I’m sure as was Rubick’s Cube.
Maybe this helps: How to Print on Plexiglass | eHow
I can image them as large pieces that sit on the floor, or smaller pieces that sit on a table.
I think it's totally appropriate for those pieces.
Will check that out. Thanks.
The link is fairly rudimentary, but it does at least describe a process.
Terrific idea, G. The could be a very marketable items. They'd sure brighten up a room for sure, even in a waiting room for some company. The possibilities are endless, and Mac is the perfect one to make them happen.
Amazing artwork, Mac. And you never cease to do just that.

That is totally awesome, G. It makes me feel as if I am standing and looking out the window at the breathtaking sunset.
Just magical.
Thank you very much, Raven Wing.
Happy Friday everyone...
Very interesting. It seems to represent a "melding" of the minds, so to speak.
That is pretty much what happens between a Warrior and his pony. Each of their lives can and sometimes does, depend on their oneness of mind and Spirit.
Morning Raven..when I saw your work..
We are one..went through my mind...
That's a real beauty, Hal. Very impressive.
Lovely bird feeders Hal and photo.
Exceptional clarity, color & composition!
Seems only right when dealing with things "cubed," that things come in 3's, so, here's my third such image.

That is not only beautiful, Mac, but, so adorable as well.
It's crossed my mind to see what a 3-dimensional TRIANGLE might yield.
Probly asking for a big headache.
For me, the 3-D triangle would be a very interesting experiment. If it works well or not, there could be much to learn from such an experiment. You won't know if your don't try it.
However, given your excellent artistic ability, I have confidence that it would be a great success. I look forward to seeing the results if you take the venture.
One of the local residents of Stone Creek. A ''ring neck'' it's beautiful and harmless.
Beautiful creature, beautifully photographed.
A really beautiful creature, and so colorful. A good example of Mother Nature's artistic touch to brighten the world.
Arvo....harmless??? Where is the fun in that!! Got to have some danger in your life..
Nice looking snake though, quite a cutie..
Yes, we are pealing, it's the sun ya know.
Stone Creek, Ocala FL.
Those are very interesting unusual 'shrooms, Kavika. What is the name of that kind of 'shroom? I have not seen any like them before. Even though they are peeling, it adds an essence of uniqueness to them. They look sort of like a husband and wife standing side by side.
I have no idea, RW, but there are quite a few of them around this spring.

He was having some issues logging in today. He'll probably get on later on. That's what happened in the past.
Good to know, thanks, Perrie.

That is really amazing, Mac. It appears that they were created separately and then put together to form the beautiful abstract. The faint glow of colors around the artwork gives it look of radiance.
Simply awesome!
