I photographed this in full color but found the subject matter to be better represented in sepia tone. The prototype for The Haunted Mansion is an actual mansion in Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania … in the Pocono Mountains roughly 12 miles from my house there. And yes, my family and I have visited the Asa Packer Mansion.
