Did Someone Say There is No Global Warming?

Watch this astounding footage of an iceberg "calving" and read the statistics of the area of melt.

That was unbelievable ambiv. Hard to imagine the size and depth of the ice that calved.

We were on a boat in Alaska in 2006 and witnessed an iceberg calving..Nothing to compare to this one, but it was awesome.

I would have loved to see that in person. I liked the superimposition of Manhattan over the ice to give perspective of the magnitude of the ice.

The tea party does not believe in global warming only because of Al Gore's book, An Inconvenient Truth.

I'm really glad I wasn't on it when it did this... It would have been fun to watch-- from a safe distance. Smile.gif

I wonder how old that ice is? And aren't the stripes neat?

I've seen pictures of ice, striped like that, and it is neither, just the way it formed. Smile.gif

Beautiful video of the birth of an ice berg

We got six more inches of global warming on the ground this morning in NE Ohio but will see temperatures above freezing for the first time in over three weeks

I am told that there has been a run on sun screen in the village drug store
