Really lottsa blessings to be thankful for; however, since it looked like we might unexpectedly have a houseful, and just found out an hour ago we won't, I am extra grateful!
I'm thankful for all my friends and family. I am thankful for every experience I've ever had in my life good or bad. I learned a long time ago I never learned very much from my good experiences, but from my bad experiences I gain so much more insight into life that have been much more valuable to me.
These are such important things to be thankful for.I hope you and yoursenjoy a very Happy Thanksgiving.(I should add to my list that I am thankful to be able to see your beautiful photos)
I am very thankful for my son and husband. Without them, life is not worth living. I am extraordinarily grateful that I am on this side of the grass, not hurting much anywhere, and able to maneuver as well as I do. I am grateful for Cracker Barrel, who cooked my Thanksgiving dinner. I am grateful for my medication that helps me to chill out-- otherwise when I walked into my mother's home this evening, to her usual hard-headed, petty, litany of complaints, that I didn't kill her. It was tempting, but I managed to resist temptation.
I am thankful for my education and will be forever grateful to my father, who insisted that I attend college and paid for it. I am thankful that I'm a geologist, which I find endlessly fascinating, and that I didn't listen when everyone said I couldn't do it. I am thankful to be working in the field of my choice-- not what someone else picked out for me.
I am thankful for my animals, who love me no matter what. I am grateful for my friends, who also make life worth living. I am thankful for a computer that works, (sort of),a car that runs, food on the table, and that I can breathe when I take my sinus meds. I am thankful that I have eyes to see, an ear for music, a sense of humor, (weird though it is), and last but not least, I am thankful for my warm bed, my TV, and my music collection.
I amvery thankful for the forest, which is my church, and that I have a washer and dryer that works. I am thankful for bees, for without them, there would a whole lot less plant life, and for honey.
Life is pretty good, it could be a whole lot worse, and I am thankful that I can enjoy most of it.
No relaticks for the holiday; so bring on the turkey, pumpkin-pie, football, and beer!
