Looking for Contributing Editors
As NT moves closer and closer to the new platform, I would like to introduce a new feature that will highlight our best writers here. So to that end, I have just introduced a "Contributing Editors". Anyone who has an original piece of journalism on any timely topic can submit. Right now our space to the right is limited, but in the future, there will be more forums and more space for this. If you would like to be a part of this endeavor, please contact me.

On the new platform there will be a page for almost any topic, so I guess that means yes, so long as it meets around 200 word min.

I think that's great, Perrie! More 'topic' specific, it sounds; more like the old Vine. Love it! I don't have any ideas at the moment, but a more topic-generated author, that we learn to understand and know, can create a loyal readership that can be beneficial to both the author and the reader. I hope I'm interpreting your meaning in how this is different from what authors are doing now?

Kind of like that. Instead of our tabs being archives for older articles, they will be like they were on NV. Kind of more like the pages of a paper, each having a place for original work and it's own forum.

Writing it as an editorial means that you would get a by line. It would also be reviewed by me before it goes to print, so to speak.
After that, you could decide if you want to take comments or have it as a stand alone piece. You can't do this on the forum, since it would fall off the board.
The best way to get an idea of what I am talking about is to go look at the Huff. I like the way they have their page arranged.
Perrie, Essentially, it's like the Blog pieces now, but would be attached (for programming purposes) to the FP instead of one's Homepage ?

Well yes and no. The blogs now are not by topic. They are not reviewed by me. A by line means that you have your name featured. They would look more like this:

There will be a place for that, Raven. The point of this is to bring up the quality of the sites writing and to the contributing editors as true journalist.
