Situational music
Well , its time for another musical challenge . Don't ask me how I know ... I just do .
The topic this time is :
Situational music to play for your pets
The idea is that some event has happened in your pets life . Now you need to choose appropriate music to commemorate the event . Please include the situation and the musical link . As always I will start things off :
Music to play for your cat after you spill his kibble by mistake

Well ... I guess I picked the wrong time to post a peace making article full of warm fuzzies . There are words of war going on .

I fed the dog the dog the wrong sausage. She prefers Kilbasa.
1. When your cat is happy:
2. When your cat is hungry in the morning & wants you to get out of bed fast to feed it and he's wondering "How long do I have to wait.."
3. To perk up your cat when he's bored (Warning-- this may make some cats hide under the bed in astonishment & terror!)
I like it ... a lot . Kilbasa deprivation is a serious condition !
Well, the situation was I had a young dog, around a year old - similar to this one , that well... was very curious about anything that moved - didn't chase, but definitely had to investigate. So, we were taking a walk one day on a nature creek trail, going over a foot bridge similar to this one , with water at about five feet depth. ..."Oh," she said, what are those?" They were small fish that were jumping out of the water, probably trying to catch bugs. Well, she started getting excited, having never seen anything like that before, and would lean over the edge of the bridge trying to catch them....yep, fell in... and I wasn't able to pull her up out of the water and she couldn't pull herself up onto the bridge. She just kept panicking and wouldn't come over to the side of creek/river.... she might have been singing this song...
Geez Groucho ,
You have to post 3 in 1 ? You are covering the entire gamut of the cat's day . I don't think I can take it . Neither could Beaker . What did you think about the chick fight ?
What ... no link ? Show me a picture of your skunk . Its not that I don't believe you ... well maybe it is .
Cute doggie . How did this incident end ?
My dog, Wiki The Warrior Wonder Weiner, ate his friends, (Tex) food and blamed it on the cat. Tex was not amused.
lol, I was worried I might get asked... ....I stripped down to my underwear, and swam in and pushed her from behind up onto the bridge. It was a fairly remote nature trail that had areas with weather damage that weren't repaired, so not many showed up. I used a leash from then on. lol
That was very brave of you . I'm sure your doggie appreciated your efforts .
Kavika ,
Was that a picture of Tex ? What would be an appropriate song to commemorate this event ?
How about this :
Uh ... maybe not .
Yes, that's Tex, he's our next door neighbor. Tex and Wiki, (mini doxie) are the best of friends. Actually I'm sure that Wiki is in love with Tex...Don't ask, it's a long story.
Anyhow the cat, it's name is Pugnacious, has been making some moves on Tex. Wiki, being a possessive girl, set the trap for Pugnacious.
Tex is now making ''cow eyes'' at Wiki. Ain't love grand.
Thesong that you picked, isthe perfect song for this triangle.
I will chalk up my pick to a lucky guess . Thanks for sharing your story .
Thank you, Petey. She was about forty to fifty pounds, and I didn't have the strength to pull her up, but pushing worked. Too bad she wouldn't swim to the edge.
Could be a true story: I went to the local shelter to find a new pet and saw this sad little bulldog. So I squatted down and said:
You were just a kid at the time ?
What a find ! "If you're lonely you can talk to me ." A sad bulldog could be very receptive to that .
In my twenties... That was too much weight to pull up for me from that low of a position, it seemed. Maybe it has to do with which muscles get used. I've always been able to push better than pull something heavier.
20's ? Its a good thing you didn't attract an audience in your skivvies like that ...
I rarely saw anyone else when I walked those trails (so was comfortable without a leash) and underwear isn't much different than a bikini... and my baby wouldn't stop trying to climb the bridge... so.. lol
Well, as I keep telling all the kids at work ( they are all in their 20's and 30's ) there is a song for everything.
What time of year was this ? Was the water cold ?
How is it being "the old man" at work ?
July or August, I think, and yes it was cold.
Cold water AND you had no one to help . That was a risky move fer sure ... How long did it take to warm back up ?
I removed the wet clothes, and remember I was freezing and was in a hurry to get back to the car...wimpering every time she was ahead of me and shook..
And that's how you got into the Navy Seals program ... or not !
LOL! Navy Seals....That's pretty cute!
It's great actually. I keep them entertained with stories my grand dad told me, and stuff I make up on my own. I respect them for the knowledge they have and they respect me for my knowledge and workmanship. I keep teaching them that if they don't learn something new everyday, the day is wasted. They teach me things, I teach them things. We all get along just great.
I think you have a broken link.
Should I call my doctor?
I'm sure your's are just fine,Lol, but I think Rescue needs to check his link. Nothing comes up.
That one works, RD.
When I got your email the first time, there was direct access to youtube - so I viewed it in the email, not realizing it didn't work here.
This one works. It reminded me of another situation: when the hound ( actually she is a black long haired chihuahua, but I try to keep her spirits up ) goes into the back yard to confront the feral cats:
