NBC's Today Show Doesn't Even Bother To Disguise It's Endless Shilling

Some tv creature named Dylan something, a woman who is the second string weather person for the Today Show franchise, doubled as the "pop news" correspondent and happily announced

We're not just saying this because the movie is owned and released by Universal , our sister company here at NBC, but the film "Straight Out Of Compton" opening today, is predicted to be a huge hit. The story of the rap group NWA is expected to pull in at least 50 million dollars in theaters this weekend.

The weather lady /pop reporter went on to show clips from the film, as the rest of the Today show cast chimed in with their belief that the movie has been receiving "4 star" reviews.

Both the Today Show and Good Morning America have been reduced to "product placement" outlets for programs , films, and music artists who are controlled by the corporate overlord of the respective tv networks.

I went to see NWA when I was in high school. Me and and a handful of other white folk. Spotting us was very easy.

BTW, Dylan failed to mention any of the non Universal Studios films that are also opening in theaters today.

NPR Morning Edition and All Things considered are my go to sources for news forget about NBC they are hacks. They are left leaning but still better balanced than most

Imagine the irony many see when "you" seed an article about "endless shilling"

If there ever was a time to be ROFL then it is in reaction that irony

John

Actually "bla bla bla" characterizes your articles and I have come across the perfect avatar for the next time your feelings are hurt, or you quit and come back or you simply want a new look
