Petition to make animal abuse a more serious offense!

pbB.jpg?width=350 By Nathan King

To: U.S. Judges

I'll keep this short....I am tired of seeing mans best friends hurt and abused.

The law gives so muchleewayfor people to dowhateverthey want to them.
I reach out to those of you who have pets and love them! please help us
punish these people a little more severelythana little time in jail and fines.

People who lovetheirpets should sign this because there are people out there who would hurt aninnocentanimal and not care because [they have] no reason to. The law will smack them on the wrist and often times they go right back to hurting our friends. It's up to us to stop this madness.

** SIGN THE PETITION **

How to Report Cruelty

ASPCAAdvocacyCenter.ashx?w=145&h=100&as=1http: Find out who is responsible for investigating and enforcing the anti-cruelty codes in your town, county and/or state. These people typically work for your local humane organization, animal control agency, taxpayer-funded animal shelter or police precinct.

If you run into trouble finding the correct agency to contact, you should call or visit your local police department and ask for their help in enforcing the law. If your local police department is unable to assist, ask your local shelter or animal control agency for advice. To find contact information for your local shelter, visit the ASPCA's searchable database of nearly 5,000 organizations. [ ASPCA ]

thanks Jerry-- I can't take those pictures...

I rescue as many as I can. And have signed the petition and shared with many. It makes me sick. Tongue.gif

Here is my sweet Tommy, who was abused and now lives with us. Couldn't do without my Tommy. He's my sweet boy!

Jerry, I'm having the same problem that Mickey Mouse is having.

I want to sign this. Both my dogs are rescue dogs.
