One of the Most Terrific Athletic Displays I've Ever Witnessed
This was an amazing game with outstanding defense and all around tenacious play. The game didn't get over until after 1 AM and the winners play this evening for the crown. 6 Over Times and the kids were exhausted but played like champs!

Minnetonka outlasted Lakeville North for a 4-3 victory Saturday morning, Feb. 23, in a record-setting semifinal of the Class 2A girls state hockey tournament at Xcel Energy Center, a game that lasted six overtimes and represents the longest in the history of the Minnesota tournament.

Great game. Good action shot, goalie down, pads along ice, stick in front, glove open and out with shot incoming. How did Tonka do in the final? Were they wiped out from the night before?
