You guys interested in some friendly football competition? With obligatory smack talk?
I was just thinking if there was enough interest, we could run a NewsTalkers fantasy football league for all the football smack talking glory. I can set either up on ESPN easily enough if there is enough interest. I think 8 people would be the minimum. If you all are interested at all, let me know here. I'll even put forth a small, $50 Amazon gift card for the league winner. Everybody is welcome. The formats are 8, 10 , 12, 16, or 20 person leagues, and standard or points per reception (PPR) scoring. I lean towards PPR as I feel it makes it a bit more interesting.

I set up the league, and set the draft for Friday, September 7th, at 9 PM (Eastern Time). That will give everybody an opportunity to learn who will and wont make the final cut, who will be named as starters for their teams, etc...I think in order for the league to be official though, all members should put their requests in by Sept 1. I will send any who are interested invites to the league so they can set their teams up. Also, dont be scared if you dont really know anything about fantasy football. It's a quick study and free to play anyway. If you have any questions, dont hesitate to ask.
My advice is dont try Max. You will be outmatched, lol. Seriously though, email me with your email and I'll send you an invite. Playing is easy.
