What Pet Should I Get, Dr. Seuss Found Treasure.

What Pet should I get?

That I won't regret?

A goodfish or a badfish?

Dr. Seuss took a look.

And so can you with his new book!

After 23 years years after the passing of the much beloved Dr. Seuss, akaTheodor Seuss Geisel, on Sept. 24, 1991,at the age of 87, a manuscript of a book he was working on "What Pet Should I get" was found byhis widow, Audrey Geisel. She had put the manuscript in a box while renovating their home in La Jolla, California, 756_discussions.jpg?width=750 outside San Diego. His long-time assistant, Claudia Prescott, decided to have his drafts and sketches in the box appraised and discovered a project that would become his 46th book.

The original manuscript was a series of black-and-white illustrations with separate pieces of text taped by the drawings, photos show.Claudia Prescott, who did all of the coloring of his books, did the color for the upcoming book.

The book's main characters have a similar appearance to the boy and girl in "One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish." Random House announced plans to publish "What Pet Should I Get?" on July 28 , and is expected to sell one million copies. two other titles by Seuss.will follow inFebruary.

I recommend avoiding the badfish. They can be a handful.
