Via: the-irascible-harry-krishner • 12 years ago • 8 commentsIf youve ever lived with a vocal cat, youve almost certainly asked yourself this question. After all, who could resist wanting to know what your feline friend is thinking as she meows plaintively at your sleeping face early in the morning or weaves her way between your legs while crying herself hoarse? They're right about all those different attributes of meows . But using body language is also helpful .
Body language is a must in figuring out the what the meow means. Even purring can take on different meanings if it comes with aspecificflick of the tail.
Wally has got to be the most talkative cat I have ever had. He not only meows, but he has grunts, squeaks, chirps, and even a trill type sound. We are still trying to figure out what each one means. I don't think he's upset unless it's a caterwaulfrom a room we are not in. That one I don't get.
But it's good to know that he doesn't need Prozac.
Here's how to reply to your cat :
That is one freaky ass video!
