Hurricane Patricia turned out a lot like the study of climatology

Hurricane Patricia turned out a lot like the study of climatology ... A big blowhard with no sustainable power . Feel free to ignore both of these fake disasters .

Sure they both look so scary at first but when things settle out they are each just a minor inconvenience ...

However the pronouncements of most climatologists may end up being extremely dangerous . By masking any real problems with an ill-conceived crude first attempt at an explanation , any real problems will be delayed in being solved .

excerpts :
Hurricane Patricia was one of the strongest storms in recorded history when it approached southwestern Mexico yesterday (Oct. 23), but the tempest weakened dramatically after hitting the coast and sweeping inland.

Early this morning, Patricia was downgraded from a Category 5 hurricane to a tropical storm. By 10 am in Mexico, when people in Jalisco and Colima were emerging from shelters to find only “minimal debris” in the streets, and local airports had resumed flights, the storm was officially a tropical depression.

Well said. Science without reliable models is not science.

I would put in a slightly more complicated form . The refusal to abandon a non-working model and then try something else is not science  . It is only propaganda .
