I have heard a lot of discussion on NT about facts, opinions, perspectives, sources and the validity or absurdity of each in the eyes of those with conflicting facts, opinions, perspectives and sources.
I always find it interesting that the masses (and individuals) find sources, opinions, perspectives and "facts" that support their own point of view on a subject to be unbiased, factual and clear while sources that offer opinions, perspectives and "facts" that are at odds with their chosen position on a subject are extreme, inaccurate and biased.
I guess it is a matter of perspective (but of course that is only my perspective or opinion) on the matter.
What most of us don't realize, is that we are all being manipulated by the "media". It's easy for us to point out the other guy's manipulation, but not so easy to see our own...
