A man in Farmington, Pennsylvania, sparked controversy when he hanged the corpse of Santa Clause from a noose on his porch. Though many in the town became upset with his apparent violent anti-Christmas message, and the fact that it’d deeply traumatize children, he argued that he was just trying to spread the word that Christmas is supposed to be a religious holiday, and not the shallow consumerist orgy it has become.
Eventually, after enough residents complained, he took the Santa down , because he “did not mean to upset anyone.”
But not everyone is against the display. The real highlight of this story is local “resident” — and hero — Barbara Carpenter, who supports the murder of Santa, and offers a bleak, existential take on the whole thing. “I thought it was great … people need to stop blowing smoke up their kids [bleep],” she said. “They need to be taught the truth from young on: Life sucks, deal with it.”

“It’s all about the money and these businesses getting money,” she adds. “If I’m buying gifts, I’m making someone else richer, and I’m going further in the ditch.”
She is the Rust Cohle of local news pieces.
I sure hope this story is an anomaly.
Merry Christmas, John!
This wasn't my official Christmas card to you Dowser.
It's a ...... human interest story.
I know, I just took the opportunity, in case I forgot later...
Why not, it's christmas time
Time for all the creepy crawlies to come out of the woodwork.
Just look at Bob on his dead children article telling us we are all the murderers of children.
Exploiting a tragedy to suit his agenda.
That's all the hanger in the pic is doing.
Disgusting in both instances.
