Favorite David Bowie Songs
Of late, it seems like all my favorite artists are dying. A sad thought, in and of itself, but one that also seems to be a harbinger of doom, in a lot of ways.
David Bowie died of cancer. My sympathy goes out to his lovely wife, the former model Iman.
I listen to this song frequently, and have always loved it! In fact, it is difficult to think of a song that he published that I didn't like. What is your favorite David Bowie song?

I make a lot of my own CDs to play in the car, and this song is on most of them. It may be a sad sort of song, since the astronaut dies, but it seems to capture the spirit of adventure of those days, long ago...
I was young when David's earlier music came out but this is one of my favorites during my high school years.

The nice thing about David Bowie is that you always felt that he would dance with you... He always seemed to be just a regular guy, if a little weird...
I'm a fan of space oddity. There was another, form 'Cat People' I think it was-the theme-the movie starred Natasha Kinske:

I used to be able to sing that song with alarmingly in David's voice.

My favorite David Bowie song is one he did with Queen, "Under Pressure". I loved the way their voices blended together. Both had amazing voices. Sadly, both are also gone.

Wonderful song! I have always loved it!
We sang this once, on our way to take the Paleontology final-- one of 4 finals for that class... It was fun, and helped lighten the atmosphere!
I am not a big David Bowie fan, but respect his music.
