Breaking News - Court Reverses 'Deflategate' , Tom Brady To Be Suspended For First 4 games Of 2016 Season

AFC Championship - New England Patriots v Denver Broncos

Welcome back, deflate-gate. Oh, how we missed you.

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady 's four-game suspension is — for now — back on, per Reuters . The Second Circuit court has ruled in favor of the NFL, ordering the district court and Judge Berman to confirm Brady to miss the first quarter of the 2016 season.

The timing is good for the Patriots, who own 11 draft picks and might now need to draft a quarterback. Other than Brady, the only QB on the roster is Jimmy Garoppolo , who was set to start early last season when the initial punishment was handed down before it was overturned by Berman.

Yes, we have a new chapter in a story that began the night of the 2014 AFC championship game when the Indianapolis Colts suspected that Brady and the Patriots intentionally deflated footballs below their legal limit to gain an advantage.

I don't have any problem with it.

I'm giddy!  The should NEVER had gone to court.  Another waste of tax payer dollars being paid on state employees salaries dedicated towards this case.  It was agreed by all parties that the Commissioner would have discretion on these decisions.  I'm not surprised the cheating Patriots are also cry babies and tried to circumvent the agreement.  Tom Brady is a great quarter back and for him to cheat just puts his character into question IMO.

The players and the league have a written agreement which permits the league to decide punishments.  That is pretty much what this case comes down to.

Good choice. Anyone associated with the University of Michigan is likely a criminal.
