What Will $500,000 Buy You?
To me, $500,000 is fabulous wealth that I will never gather together... So, I was really startled to learn that people in Hong Kong are paying $500,000 for an apartment that is 180 square feet in size. Guess I'd better stay right here in Kentucky!

I think I'd better stay in KY... Real estate costs are just WAY too high, anywhere else!
When I looked at the pictures, one of my first thoughts was that if I had $500,000 & wanted to buy a house-- I'd certainly buy it in Kentucky and not "La-la land" (AKA Los Angeles).
Vive la difference!
No joke! Taxes are a lot lower, too!
And just think-- this is in Louisville, where it is expensive to live... Out and about in the state, it's a lot cheaper!
Just look at what you can get in Bowling Green, KY:
A half mill won't go very far at the hospital ... just sayin' .
Not anymore, for sure! Yet, there are 5 empty hospitals on the east side of town, just standing there. No doctors in them, no beds, no nothing. So why build them, if they aren't going to be used?
There are a LOT of people out there with more money than sense! This is a prime example.
