BEIRUT (Reuters) - U.S.-led coalition forces bombed Syrian troops near Deir al-Zor airport on Saturday, the Syrian army said, allowing Islamic State fighters to briefly overrun their position and putting new strains on a ceasefire in effect elsewhere in the country.

Sure, our actions helped the Islamic State.
But look at the good news...at least we were able to avoid putting more of the proverbial "boots on the ground".
(Our military was totally sucessfull in keeping all footwear in the planes when we bombed the bejesus out of the Syrians).
