New Day, New Path, New Pix!

Looked out my bedroom window this morning and saw three White-tailed Deer eating the fallen Poplar leaves, and, a Sugar Maple tree whose leaves exploded in color overnight.

That's all it took for me to grab my camera stuff and head to the woods (an extension of my back yard -- which is IN THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA -- we preserve our park system, woods and waters).

More pix will be posted later … I may head out again for more.

Aww, thanks Mac!  Really like the second one...almost looks like you took it while laying on the ground.

LOVE the pictures!

A couple of the neighborhood trees exploded into color last night!  They are gorgeous!  The rest are green and a bit dull...  I keep waiting for the one down at MacDonald's to turn its usual fiery red/orange, but nothing yet.  Our trees are brownish and dull.  Usually they're red and orange...  Just not yet!

Thanks for sharing these!  Love how the road winds down through the trees!

Third picture posted … a perfect way, IMO, to say "good night".

More tomorrow.

I'm sure that I commented on the photos, but my comment is gone.

Well here goes again...I love them all, but the sunset is my favorite. Errrr, no the path is my favorite. On 3rd thought I think that it's the trees...

That's it, it's a tree way tie.

Wow, that was tough.
