"In all chaos there is a cosmos" ~ "The Path has a Heart"
"In all chaos there is a cosmos, in all disorder a secret order." _Carl Jung
I'm not sure when I got hooked on trying to find "order" in what, at first, appears to be "chaos and randomness" (if not "disorder"), and then proceed to create a photograph or painted image that has stability and strong composition …
… but I do it all the time!
The 19th Century American artist, Asher B. Durand said, "To know Nature, go into the woods with a painter."
Although I have been a painter many times (by that I mean, I have given it up and, started to paint again, quit, and again, and … you get the idea), in my heart, I am still a painter (who started to paint again recently, FYI).
On a forest path, how many million leaves and branches and twigs and shrubs will one encounter in an hour or so? If one just strolls casually along, such an encounter is summarily (albeit joyously) experienced. But go into the woods with a painter/nature photographer, one who can cite the biological and common names on sight, of many things botanical, geological, zoological, ornithological, etc., and, IMO, joy becomes enthrallment, chaos becomes order and, as a Yaqui Native American once noted, THE PATH HAS A HEART.
Below are photos, which in my eye and mind, I see and feel the order and the work of a cosmic hand.
It is my sincere wish, that you will see and feel it as well.

I will be posting others throughout the day (and maybe get out and take some new ones).
What a great way to wake up in the morning. Thank you Mac!

Third one posted.
Excellent
New image posted at the top of the article … a kind of shameless self-promotion of the article itself.
Forgive the indulgence. Enjoy the view.
Hey, there is nothing wrong with some shameless self promotion, Mac.
I love all three, but I think the 3rd one is my favorite! I love to see the water through the trees! Thank you for these!
Now there are five.
Good night.
I tried.
Again, all magnificent! The third one is my favorite of these.
Good night; hoping to get one last shoot of this autumn …
