Photos of naked female Marines reportedly shared on social media
"The U.S. Marine Corps is investigating a veteran's allegations that military personnel and other veterans distributed nude photos of female colleagues and other women as part of a social media network that promotes sexual violence. Hundreds of Marines may be caught up in the scandal, the Marine Corps Times reported Sunday.
The revelation was first uncovered by a decorated combat veteran's non-profit news site and reported Saturday by the Center for Investigative Reporting. Maj. Clark Carpenter, a Marine Corps spokesman, confirmed that an investigation is underway, Marine Corps Times reported, but he said military officials were uncertain exactly how many personnel were involved." - Source
I have no mixed feeling about this. What these scum-balls did was wrong on all levels. It was, illegal, dishonorable, loathsome and disgusting.

This is disgusting and if they can find those that did it and those that cheered it on should be prosecuted. There is no room in today's military for this type of misogynist behavior-and it's an insult to our fellow marines, soldiers, Airman...and whatever they call those nay types. These are people that share the foxholes and the jobs we all do and we need to be able to rely on every single one of them to 'have our backs'. This kind of behavior undercuts the meaning of Corps.
It's an embarrassment and the leadership of the Marine Corps has rightly called it out as such.
Disgusting. I hope the investigation is vigorous.
