Jack had to go to the vet recently and he was not happy about it. His strategy was "if I can't see you, you can't see me."
Cats have also been using this strategy for quite some time...

I know I feel better when I don't see people looking at me when I suspect something bad is about to happen.
Most animals don't like to be in strange places, or places that have a bad smell, so they seek out a comfort place to try and hide.

I must have the ONLY DOG that will run up to the vet tail wagging and happy to see them.

My Tommy, who is too heavy for me to carry, requires being carried in by my dear husband. Then Tommy is so mad at him, he won't look at him. A trip to the vet is traumatic for all of us!
