When the first CEO or two quit, I had thought the rest would stay-- but one by one CEOs continued to quit....
Trump continues to alienate people who's support he needs...from Senators, to his own advisers to newspeople and now major corporate CEOs...
The more I read about the C.E.O. group it appears the group was meant to be nothing more than a Business sector support group and cheering squad for Trump from the beginning. They have been expected to support many of Trumps decisions that they very much disapproved of, but, still remained in the group.
Since their inception they have only had a few meetings and nothing has been planned for the future. So it seems that they finally got wise to what was actually expected of them and wasn't really their Business input, but, their political support for Trump from the Business sector and left the group. Can't say as I blame them for finally saying, Enough is Enough.
Just my 2 cents worth on the subject.
I think you nailed it.
I guess the next big question is, who will be the first cabinet member to quit?
I think the Sec of Transportation.
Remember that cabinet meeting when each of them, in turn, recited fawning praise of Glorious Leader?
They have no pride... Regardless of the cr@p they're forced to ingest, they won't break with Trump.

WTF???
"They won't break with trump"???

C'mon Krishna...
The story is about CEOs on advisory committees. John asked about cabinet members. Not the same population.
Ok?
