Trump has been constant in one thing: he continually pushes the limits of what is acceptable in America, politically and morally.
He has now set the standard for normal at "defending racism".
Journalist are confronted with a quandary: Either to harp on the awfullness of Donald Trump (and risk boring / aggravating their readers) or normalizing Trump's defense of racism.
