What are you listening to lately

Via: larry-hampton • 7 years ago • 41 commentsI don't wanna fight with you baby But its just that you've been in my way lately And I'm feeling bad about feeling crazy
Oh I don't wanna fight with you now No, I don't wanna let you down Drop your body to the ground Leave you off at the lost and found Watch another lover come around I don't wanna let you down Ooh, I am yours to bear You're mine to share my days with Ooh, I am yours to bear You're mine to share my days with now You're the only one who knows my name Has the guts to treat me this way Calls me out when I cause you pain You don't hesitate and you shoot me straight You're the only one who knows my name Ooh, I am yours to bear You're mine to share my days with Ooh, I am yours to bear You're mine to share my days with now Oh mine to need, mine to hold me I don't lead or follow So give me peace like water and don't spare me One minute your love Oh I don't wanna make you cry Use my faults as an alibi Taking off when I know you're trying Use the past like its enemy fire No I don't wanna make you cry now Ooh, I am yours to bear You're mine to share my days with Ooh, I am yours to bear You're mine to share my days with Mine to share my days with now

Very nice Larry.
Never heard that one before Larrs. Really nice.
I heard this was a big hit on the internets yesterday, "do you remember, the twenty-first night of September", but I forgot to post it then.
This 40 year old song has 132,000,000 views on You Tube.
Mine and the hubby's song... as we meet on the 21st night of Sept. 1988.
I try to listen to this song at least every now and then. Great song, professional musicians and singers who are obviously relaxed and enjoying themselves . This is how one of the commenters on You Tube put it - "Christ, those guys had more fun in those 3 mins than I've had in my whole life."
So this is a little bit different...
Matt's BF from Childhood had a band.. and they recorded this song:
Which became a big cult classic and was redone by Urge Overkill
Now the only reason this is what I have been listening to, is that I got Urge Overkill mixed up with Overkill, and now Matt has been listening to the various versions A LOT!!!
Hence I hope he gets this out of his system when tomorrow night he goes with his buds to see UFO.
On the other hand.. I will leave you with a blues number... by James Morrison.
First, I know that my taste in music isn't for everybody. But it's what I like and gets me moving.
I took my son to his first metal concert back in April. The headlining band (Testament) was also MY first metal concert back in 1990 (I've been a fan of them since). The supporting bands (Prong and Sepultura) I had also seen back in 1991 as well.
The song Stronghold can be seen from many differing points of view. Testament singer Chuck Billly, stated during the show that he saw it as backing those who protested the pipeline earlier this summer.
Great pop song.
This is my sister's band. They are called Inflow and have released an EP. Here is one of their songs:
Is your sister the singer?
Yuppers!
She's very good.
Thanks!
Is Wally the model for the cover?
LOL.. No.. he looks more like my departed fur friend Bud E.
This is Wally
Great band and song, Perrie. Your Sister has a very good voice.
Thanks Raven! You can hear more here:
Thanks for the link Perrie. (smile)
My cousin, Keith Secola (Ojibwe) NDN Car.
Great recording, Kavika!
He sounds great, Kavika. He's professional, right?
Yes he is professional. He's written the scores to some movies as well.
Most recently these:
As relevant today as it was in 1967.
Thanks everybody---Great additions!
