I have decided that I need a Boxer.

I've lost 2 dogs in the past 3 months, a 16 year old Yorkie, a 9 year old Mastiff, and I still have a 17 year old mutt...  Time for a new puppy.

I've got plenty of time to walk him/her, I'm just wondering, are they jumpers?  My fence is only about 4 feet high.

Charger and dogs Athena and Bo IV say you should have a Boxer.  Neighbor got one as a puppy, very active friendly dog. Didn't jump low fence but would push flimsy gate open.

Well, it's either a lab or a boxer, and I'm leaning towards boxer because I've never had one.  I'm ready for a change!

I have never had a boxer, but my daughter's best friend currently has two and they seem to be great family dogs also.  They love and protect her child.

Sorry about losing your buddies.

Boxers are very attached (clingy) to their owners.  If one jumped the fence, he'd be back in about half a heartbeat.
