Rolling Stones Top 500 Songs -- 11-20

This list made a lot more sense to me than the previous list...  I, of course, disagree with some placements, naturally, but I have to realize that I'm old, and a lot of my favorites aren't on ANY list!

#20  The Beatles, Let It Be

#19  Elvis Presley, Hound Dog

#18  Chuck Berry, Maybellene

#17  Jimmy Hendrix, Purple Haze

#16  The Beatles, I Wanna Hold Your Hand

#15  The Clash, London Calling

#14  Bob Dylan, Blowin' in the Wind

#13  The Beatles, Yesterday

#12  Sam Cooke, A Change is Gonna Come

#11  The Who, My Generation

Thanks for coming by!

To me, you could have replaced the Nirvana song in the top 10 with any of these, and I would have been pleased...  But then, I'm old...

Dear Friend Dowser: At my age, Rolling Stones generally refers to uncomfortable kidney stone movement.

Lol!

Of course at my house, rolling stones is when a rock box breaks, and the rocks roll out.  We could have an avalanche at my house, easily!

Dear Friend Dowser: BOL.

Good one!

I recall the original Saturday Bight Live cast did a spoof on an early reality TV shows.

The show followed a family whose real last name was Loudd.

In the skit, they all yelled at each other full volume.

In one exchange between Gilda Radner and Dan Akroyd, Gilda screams, "What ever happened to Uncle Freddie?

Last I heard her went to a ski lodge in Switzerland".

Akroyd replies shouting at the top of his lungs, "Tragedy. Avalanche"!

Enoch.
