WTF is Wrong with People
PHOENIX — A man has been arrested in the shooting deaths of his estranged wife and their two children at a Phoenix apartment complex before getting into a Christmas Day shootout with officers, authorities said.
Police responded Monday afternoon to a report of gunfire and found a woman dead in the parking lot. Officers later found the bodies of a 10-month-old girl and an 11-year-old boy inside the apartment.
Police tried to talk to the suspect, who barricaded himself inside the unit where he used to live, Sgt. Jonathan Howard said. Several hours later, the unidentified man indicated he had killed the two children and began shooting at officers. After a brief gunbattle, he was taken into custody.

I get that break ups are hard and this guy got angry with his ex (I do not support his actions) but wtf could the children have possibly done to deserve death.
Since she was in the parking lot the only thing I can fathom is that he killed the children first so his wife could see it. When I read this article earlier, it made me sick that he could do this to his own children or any children. Some people are just mentally sick.
I suppose that's possible, but even if so I still can't wrap my head around the why.
I can't even attempt to understand what was in his head....Killing a 10 month old and 11 year old, I cannot wrap my head around that.
