Iran's Leader Is Worse Than Hitler and Wants to Spread Islam to America, Says Saudi Prince Mohammed bin Salman

“I believe that the Iranian supreme leader makes Hitler look good. But the supreme leader is trying to conquer the world. He believes he owns the world. They are both evil guys. He is the Hitler of the Middle East,” he added.

In November he ordered a crackdown on businessmen and officials accused of corruption, which has reportedly recovered 100 billion dollars in financial settlements.,although critics said it was a purge of his rivals to consolidate power.

Women will also be allowed to drive for the first time in the kingdom, although the country's guardianship laws, which he describes as only "customs," which restrict women's freedoms, remain in place. (LINK)

The crown prince insists his country is part of a group of moderate Muslim nations which include Jordan, Oman, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates which are, in his view, countries based on the founding principles of the United Nations whose values are at odds with those of the “evil triangle.”

He probably feels that the Sunni nations are all "moderates"..and are countries who principles are consistent with the founding principles of the U.N.

But its those darn Shia nations that are the extremists...and the bad guys. Nations like...ummm... maybe...Iran ..perhaps? :-)

“I believe that each people, anywhere, has a right to live in their peaceful nation. I believe the Palestinians and the Israelis have the right to have their own land. But we have to have a peace agreement to assure the stability for everyone and to have normal relations.

Recognizing the right of the Jews to their ancient homeland? Does he think he can actually, like,  get away with a total shonda such as that? I bet this dude doesn't remain alive very long . . .

Yes. He's pretty friendly with Trump...and Trump can be easily influenced of course.  (He susceptible to flattery, etc). In the past the Saudis might not be too successful with that sort of persuasion. But with an impulsive president like Trump....who knows? (Ironically, it may be the U.S. military who persuades Trump not to go to war with Iran).

BTW I think many of the Gulf states are actually hoping that Israel will do it... that Israel will attack Iran. And Israel's current leadership is very right wing now. Both Israel and Iran put out a lot of tough talk towards each other. Many people feel a preemptive strike by either of them may happen at any minute.

But I have a different opinion. I think both Israel and Iran are aware of the simple fact that a war between the two would be disastrous for both sides. But that sort of rhetoric is great for mobilizing their "political bases" -- so while they will continue to engage in inflammatory talk,  neither Israel nor Iran will start a war with the other.

P.S: This guy has actually instituted some reforms...but IMO he's a bit of a nutcase!
