Just came in from the woods; I had not seen the kits or vixen all day … but at around 6:30PM, I saw them through binoculars and got to my "tree stump" … and got a number of new shots.
"Hmmm....Wonder what that strange thing is for; and what about that large animal attached to it. How can it see with something like that in front of its face????"
If you did not see the discussion that preceded this yesterday, it's at this link …
And, if you, in fact, have not seen it, rather than tell you what 's there … should you look … it will enable you to connect the …
… FOX.
Awwwww
Link didn't take Mac. I guess you could call her a foxy lady.
Let me re-link …
Link to First Article
This should work as well as the link at the top of the article.
A stone fox so to speak...
NICE!!
She is so pretty!
Mac are you sure that is the female. Red Fox mate for life and it could be the dog (male) guarding the den.

It's definitely a female as I have a shot or two of the kits nursing … I'll post at least one shot later.
Excellent
I think she wants to take a bite of you.
haha
Got a number of other shots from yesterday to post … been by the den today … no sign of kits or dog or vixen.
Just posted two more.
Hey Mac,
First is she the mom of the pups we saw yesterday?
And second, is this from your backyard or your country home?
She's beautiful and I do think she's smiling at you
Great shots ! Pups are too cute !
Superb!
Keep 'em coming.
Love the new photos... Very well done.

"Hmmm....Wonder what that strange thing is for; and what about that large animal attached to it. How can it see with something like that in front of its face????"
Those eyes...
I bet that they are saying to each other...''I've got my eye on you''.......
Great photos.
More new "foxy" fotos tomorrow.
If I think of it, I'll photograph the tree stump and its position in conjunction with the den.
