Veterinarian accused of trafficking heroin inside puppies to stand trial in US
A Venezuelan veterinarian – busted overseas for allegedly trafficking heroin inside of puppies – has been extradited to New York, according to law enforcement sources.
Accused drug runner Andres Lopez Elorza, 33, arrived at JFK on Monday afternoon and is expected to appear in Brooklyn federal court on Tuesday, the sources said.
He donned a green jacket and put his hands inside his blue sweater to conceal handcuffs as he was taken by US Marshals at the airport, NBC reported.
Lopez Elorza was arrested in Spain back in 2015 in connection to a raid at a vet clinic he ran in Colombia where authorities found 6.6 pounds of heroin implanted inside three puppies.
This bust targeted a drug-trafficking gang that used dogs to send liquid heroin from Colombia to the United States, authorities said.
How do you implant over two pounds of liquid heroin inside a little puppy? That is messed up.
seriously messed up
This person needs 6 lbs of heroin shoved up their ass.
It won't be heroin, but many somethings will get shoved up there once he lands in gen pop.
I sure hope so!
That is just too sick for words. The cruelty of some people for the almighty dollar is truly mind boggling. I hope they throw the book at him.
What they should do is cut him open, stuff a bunch of rotting garbage inside of him, sew it, up and leave it there. But, the courts are too humane for that.
That's probably what the local cartel was telling him they were going to do to him if he didn't do it. Not that that is an excuse, but I don't hear good things about drug smuggling cartels.
This POS has a lonnnnng record of this heinous behavior:
