WV Supreme Court Justice Loughry named in 32-count judicial complaint
In no uncertain terms, the West Virginia Judicial Investigative Commission on Wednesday alleged that the man who wrote the book on political corruption in West Virginia had perpetuated his own abuses of power as a justice for the West Virginia Supreme Court.
West Virginia Supreme Court Justice Allen Loughry is the subject of a 32-count judicial complaint filed Wednesday at the state Supreme Court by the state Judicial Investigative Commission.

While WV's teachers were fighting to get decent wages and health insurance, their Supreme Court chief justice was buying a $32,000 sofa for his office and helping himself to state property.
Living high on the hog.
It always amazes me that people yell about spending yet must have these opulent offices and free travel expenses, even for personal use.
WV has a lot of problems, now we find out that even their justices cannot be trusted...What a scum bag...Hard jail time would help him realize the error of his ways...20 years seems about right.
Apparently, they aren't considered to be criminal charges. About all they can do is fine and disbar him.
Yeah, sad that they can't prosecute him criminally. A nice $750,00 fine. Loss of all benefits (retirement) etc would work for me.
This guy would be a great addition to the Trump cabinet!
After his pardon.
He would fit right in with Pruitt and Carson.
