TRUMP ISSUES DIRECT CHALLENGE TO KAVANAUGH ACCUSER
“I ask that she bring those filings forward so that we can learn date, time, and place!”

President Donald Trump directly challenged a woman making a high-school-era sexual assault charge against Judge Brett Kavanaugh in a Friday tweet.

“If the attack on Dr. Ford was as bad as she says, charges would have been immediately filed with local Law Enforcement Authorities by either her or her loving parents,” Trump tweeted. “I ask that she bring those filings forward so that we can learn date, time, and place!”

I have no doubt that, if the attack on Dr. Ford was as bad as she says, charges would have been immediately filed with local Law Enforcement Authorities by either her or her loving parents. I ask that she bring those filings forward so that we can learn date, time, and place!

The radical left lawyers want the FBI to get involved NOW. Why didn’t someone call the FBI 36 years ago?

Kavanaugh’s accuser, Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, surfaced Sunday in an on-the-record in The Washington Post. Ford detailed to TheWP how she sent an anonymous letter to Sen. Dianne Feinstein regarding the alleged encounter months earlier. Feinstein said she forwarded Ford’s letter to the FBI for review but never made the allegations public until stories began to surface around the letter itself after Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearings ended.

Senate Republicans are now attempting to hold a follow-up hearing on the accusation Monday to discern the facts, though Ford’s attorney has ruled out such testimony. Ford’s attorney has declared that she is willing to testify before the committee but does not want to be questioned by outside counsel and wants Kavanaugh to speak first.

Ford is likely to be pressed on issues of specificity regarding her allegation against Kavanaugh.

Ford maintains that she   did not tell anyone   about the alleged incident until 2012 and never filed any sort of report with the police. Trump’s tweet appears to directly challenge Ford to come forward with any details of the alleged crime, which she told TheWP she cannot remember. Ford is uncertain as to the time, date and place of the alleged crime.

Come on out Christine.....out from behind your handlers, Feinstein & Schumer. You accuse somebody of something like sexual assault and you have to face them.  We wasted 2 weeks on your activist scheme.  Time to call you out!

Did you even bother to read the article?

She didn't agree to testify in front of the committee. She didn't even agree on a date, or who would be "allowed" to question her.

I hope she does appear Wednesday and testifies.

That way the vote can take place Friday after Kavanaugh testifies (again!) on Thursday.

Um, no...she agreed a week ago to testify but with a bunch of insane conditions. Today, she "agreed" to testify, but saying there are still negotiations to be made with the when, where and who can and can't be there. No different than where we were the first day she said she would testify.

A couple of questions stick out to me that have not been answered.

1. If Dr Ford stated in her letter that she wanted to stay anonymous and bring nothing more to this, then why did two activist, far left wing lawyers pop on the screen within a few hours of her being outed?

2. Democrats keep saying that Republicans do not want an FBI investigation, which, in fact, the FBI does not have jurisdiction. They said so themselves. However, Senator Feinstein had possession of this "letter" approximately 2 months before the hearings. What stopped her from quietly asking the local or state authorities to conduct an investigation into the allegations. Liberals say it would only take a couple of days. This investigation could have been completed before the hearings, and if there was something there, democrats could have brought it out then.

Let's face it, America. Liberals DO NOT want a hearing. They could care less about this woman. She herself is a left wing activist who is in a photo holding a sign "not my President". This in itself should question the motives of Dr Ford and her lawyers, who have been videoed in similar settings.

Grassley should set, in concrete, a hearing on Wednesday at the latest. If Dr Ford shows, good. Hold the hearing. If she does not, that shows even more the motives of democrats, and more obvious, liberals. They only want one of three things. Delay the hearings until after the mid terms, hope that Trump withdraws his name, or Kavanaugh himself drops out.

Sorry, libs, you will be 0-3 on this one.

Interesting that previous reports said Dr. Ford gave the letter to her "local" Dem Rep, who, in turn, gave it to Feinstein who, in turn, hasn't given it to anyone.

Is there such a letter?

One thing that kind of gets lost in all of this and I don't care what political party it involves. When a woman comes out with an allegation after decades to stop a major political appointment, it is not usually a case of her coming forward suddenly after all that time ("for the good of the nation!"). It is more often the actions of political operatives from one party or the other (in the case of democrats - it is also with the media) to bring her forward!  And that is part of what happened with Ford.

It is, and the vast majority of Aericans see this for what it is. A sham.

Here we have a liberal activist on photo holding up a sign that says "not my President", and 2 far left wing activist "lawyers" who are on video speaking giddly about their "resistance".

This is nothing more than a scam by the left wing to make the President look bad. They don't give a rat's ass about any woman being sexually assaulted as long as it is used as a weapon to take down this President.

You bet!  Remember Hill was found by an activist friend. Her story then sent to democrats. Both Hill & Ford started out by asking for anonymity. Both had deep political views, yet were uncomfortable about getting up and making the charges publicly. They were both dragged into the arena, both to be sacrificed to achieve a political goal.

That's just another conservative dimwit trivializing attempted gang rape and discrediting a victim of sexual assault, and it reveals a profound lack of awareness of how most sexual assault victims react.    With pussy grabbers like Trump around it's no wonder that so few rapes ever get reported.

No wonder Senator Collins was outraged by our Fuhrer's misogynistic comments.

The latest UPDATE:

"Members of the Senate Judiciary Committee and attorneys for Christine Blasey Ford have tentatively agreed to hold a public hearing Thursday so that she can share details of her accusations, according to multiple Democrats and Republicans familiar with the plans. Ford has accused Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexually assaulting her 36 years ago.

A "short but very productive call" between Democratic and Republican members of the committee and Ford's attorneys yielded the agreement, according to one person familiar with the call.

All sides plan to speak again Sunday to sort out final details."

So let's see where we are at.  The hearing will be held on the day that Ford and her activist legal team demanded a week ago. There are no other details given, nor is there any evidence that they have  worked out any details. Ford's activist lawyers want Kavanaugh to give testimony first, before he hears what the accusations are or the details, kind of like what they used to do in the old Soviet Union. They also don't want any female lawyer asking questions. Nope, they want Republican's pictured asking the questions of this frail woman. We also learned of another lawyer on Ford's legal team - Michael Bromwich (former DOJ IG).

We have no guarantee of anything, except that we are now going from another Monday to that "danger zone" Thursday.

Prediction :  Come Thursday of next week there will be no appearance by Ford and we will have yet another week lost on this confirmation. The progressive game plan is succeeding, as Chuck Grassley bends over backwards trying to prove how fair & decent he is.

(Bloomberg) -- The woman who claims Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her decades ago strengthened her legal team with the addition of Michael Bromwich, a former federal prosecutor who helped investigate the Iran-Contra affair.

The Harvard Law alumnus joins lawyers Debra S. Katz and Lisa Banks on Christine Blasey Ford’s legal team. Katz and Banks confirmed on Saturday that Ford has agreed to testify before a Senate panel about her allegations against Kavanaugh, setting up a showdown in the bitter political fight over President Donald Trump’s second high court pick.

The move to join Ford’s team prompted Bromwich’s resignation from the Washington law firm Robbins, Russell, Englert, Orseck, Untereiner & Sauber LLP, where he was a senior counsel. He quit because some of the partners objected to his decision, according to a note he sent out. His name no longer appears on the firm’s roster of attorneys.

I suspect November 6th is going to bring the gender and ethics gap into sharp relief.    Very few women and no ethical people will be voting for the rape apologists in the GOP.

One reaction to Trump being installed by the EC has been to cause even more women and minorities to run for office to counter his misogyny and bigotry.    Almost all of those new recruits are Dems.
