60 Percent of Americans Want Trump Impeached or Censured
A new poll shows that 60 percent of U.S. voters want Donald Trump impeached and removed from office or formally censured. The Harvard CAPS/Harris poll that came out yesterday says that a large majority of American voters polled think there needs to be “some kind of action” taken against Trump at this time.

S E E D E D   C O N T E N T

Given the fact that federal prosecutors have not charged the president with a crime or even released any evidence saying he has committed crimes, these are surprisingly high numbers. The poll shows that the small amount of information about Trump’s crimes that has been reported in the media is enough for the majority of voters to form opinions about Trump.

The implication is that once special counsel Robert Mueller and other  federal prosecutors issue indictments  then public opinion will turn even more against the president. Trump will probably also be hurt when Mueller releases his final report on the Russia investigation sometime in the next few months.

Pure hate mongering BS! Besides, impeachment does not guarantee removal from office. Bill Clinton was impeached...

I served my country honorably in the U.S. Navy for 20 years. I swore a solemn oath to "uphold and defend the Constitution of The United States.." I took that oath very seriously when I first took it and I still do so to this day. I have fought in two wars. I love my country and I have shed my blood for it. I am willing to bet I believe in the Constitution far more than you are capable of understanding! So please do not condescend to try to tell me I do not belueve in it. You have a nice day and Happy New Years to you.

It's an online poll.  So, in reality, it would be along the lines of 60% of the members of this site want Trump impeached.

ABOUT THE POLL

The survey was conducted online by the Harris Poll within the United States between February 11-13, 2017 among 2,290 adults aged 18+, including 2,148 registered voters. The theoretical margin of error is +/- 2%.

The poll is supervised by Mark Penn and Professor Stephen Ansolabehere as co-directors. Mark Penn has 40 years of polling experience and Stephen Ansolabehere has 25 years experience conducting survey research and experimental research in the field of political science. They both teach polling courses at Harvard.

Harris Insights and Analytics conducts the poll based on online methodologies they have been using for more than a decade and the results are donated to the Harvard Center for American Political Studies.

The results are represented as the results of the questions asked according to The Harris Poll methodology.

It matches Trumps approval/disapproval numbers pretty closely, it seems pretty accurate to me. Face it, 56-60% of Americans disapprove of Trump. Just because you and everyone you know excitedly wait for the next little Trump biscuit he tosses to you, his loyal defenders, the Ever-Trumpers, it doesn't mean he's actually popular, it just means you're living in Trumplandia.

So you believe a poll that was conducted less than one month after Trump was inaugurated is reflective of today? Hell, the vast majority of libs went into butt hurt meltdown back then and many have warmed up to Trump, simply because their freebies are still coming at them.

BTW, Trump's approval is hovering around 50 percent, give or take a point, much the same as liberal god Obama rated this time his first term. So, did that mean he was not that popular, you were just living in Obamalandia?

Do you remember all the polls before the real one that counted that almost all said Hillary was going to win in a landslide?  And, you are here spouting off about how Trump's approval rating is?  Polls are not good for anything other than showing a trend, and even then they are not accurate between the +/- 2% to 4% they say they are.  And, they never mention how accurate the polls actually are when the election results are in, do they?

Do you remember all the polls

I do remember the polls and the majority of Americans STILL hate that piece of shit scum bag as much as they did when they voted against him. The majority of Americans voted against Trump, that's simple fact and no matter how much you want to hide bind the electoral vote, it doesn't make him popular. To be popular he'd have to win the popular vote which HE"S NEVER DONE and will NEVER DO. This article isn't about whether the "electoral college" wants Trump impeached, it's about the majority of Americans wanting to get rid of the embarrassing shit stain in the oval office, to have a real President again, one we can respect and who will rebuild the dignity of the office after having to power-wash off Trumps filth.

In Trump we finally have a real president not in bed with the traitors from both parties who only want tyrannical control over Americans and what they earn.

Trump has become the best president in 90 years and will easily be re elected since the Dems are certain to nominate either a socialist or a communist.

I never claimed he was popular just that polls are not accurate at all and to use them as a basis for as a factual basis for an opinion is not a good idea.  Remember, those polls weren't just about Hillary winning the popular vote, but winning in all the states needed to win the Electoral College in a landslide.  Even until midnight on election night, they kept claiming she had a 90+% chance of winning the Electoral College on the news, and she didn't, did she?

EDIT: And, that 90+% chance of winning was based on EXIT POLLS!

Hey LiveFree, you jumped and ran from another article where I asked you to justify your statement that Trump was the most moral President.  Why don't you stop hiding and go back to justify your claim?

I never stated he was the most moral.  Ive never made a statement on any president being the most moral. I’ve said his policies are the best and he’s done more than any modern president to promote Federal action in support of religious liberty and Judeo Christian values.

My statement you referenced was not that Trump was the most moral but that he’s a 1000 times more moral than Hussein Obama who promoted and advocated for infanticide, sexual perversion as good, Communist redistribution of wealth, and equating Islamic jihad with Christianity

He must have won a lot of people over since this poll was taken because last week we learned he’s the second most admired man in America.

I'll stand up and say it was Obama. However, 19 percent is not exactly a stellar number to be "most admired", either is 14 percent by Trump. Also, Gallup has always been known as a left leaning poll service.

Unfortunately, our picks for President in the last couple of decades have been nothing more than popularity contests, and not votes on who can actually lead this country. The media has not helped with the way they fawned over Obama for the entirety of his 8 years in office.
