Buttigieg on Trump: 'I think the government's been in some kind of.crisis" ever since the president took office.

Democratic presidential contender Pete Buttigieg isn't sure whether it's worse for Trump administration jobs to be filled or vacant, but . . .

One thing were are seeing more and more is Americans need our government to work. We can have an argument about how big it ought to be or how small it ought to be, what functions it ought to take on, but fundamentally I'd be run out of town on a rail if I couldn't run a government. And what we're seeing in Washington is . . .its hard to sink a ship but they seem to be doing their best and . . . ( LINK to video)
I don't know what's worse: them being fully staffed and pursuing policies that are destructive. or them being hamstrung by the inability to do much at all because there are so many key positions that are vacant.
Are those the only possibilities?
Master of the obvious.
After mentioning various Trump appointees who have recently quit or been fired, the interviewer asks:
Do you think that the government itself is in a state of crisis?
Buttagieg replies:
I think the government's been in some sort of crisis ever since this president arrived, Not just when you have a vacancy but sometimes when you have an appointee who is hostile to the mission of the agency that he or she is heading up...
"American dream slipping away?" Not hard to figure out. Way past time for 'the candidates' and Americans to have a conversation about Supply Side Economics. Discussing--what ( it ) has accomplished...what ( it ) has not accomplished----who benefited the most from ( it ) and who benefited the least from ( it ). These two items are good starters. And of course, there is so much more.
SSE is a rip off.
