A favorite 4th of July album, a recording of the UN parade in NYC 1961 by Bob Sharples, I liked to blast it through the neighborhood when I had those four foot tall monster woofers and speakers.
It's an actual parade in 4 track stereo with marching bands, troops tanks and fly overs.
Sadly I no longer have record player, lol.
The first side of the album was mostly the bands of Allies, which progresses to American military and folk songs.
It's only 35 minutes but my kids thought it was an eternity, lol....
are you clicking the button just to the left of the smiley face and then the button that says "You Tube" , and then placing the url for the video into the long box that say "You Tube ID" and then pressing the button to the right of that that reads "Embed This Media" ? That should be all there is to it.
IF I HAD A HAMMER - TRINI LOPEZ
I like Peter, Paul, and Mary's version better but still a great song. It was one of my generation's coming of age anthems.
AMERICAN PATROL - GLENN MILLER
Great selection of WW II warbirds. I am a avid amateur WW II aviation history buff. Thanks!
Luv the P-38's
HAPPY DAYS ARE HERE AGAIN - ANNETTE HANSHAW
ARMED FORCES MEDLEY - WEST POINT BAND
JOHN PAUL JONES - JOHNNY HORTON

John - I've tried that but wind up with 17 pages of links - none of which has the link I'm attempting to post.
As my wife sez - you and technology are very distant friends.
Thanks for posting that for me.
Have a Happy Fourth - seriously.
Same to you 1st.
RAGGED OLD FLAG - JOHNNY CASH
DANCING IN THE STREET - KIDZ BOP
THE HOUSE I LIVE IN - FRANK SINATRA
What a voice - luv that man.
I know she is in disfavor at the moment but, God Bless America.
Kind of odd coming from an atheist:)
