The move to suspend sales of the over-the-counter heartburn drug was taken out of caution while the FDA continues its review.

It is unclear if this includes generics, so finding that out would be important.
We have a call into CVS.
Last week they absolutely guaranteed that the generic, manufactured by GlenMark Pharma was not involved in the recall(s)
This week they offered to refund it and switch it if possible. They are supposed to be getting back to us, asap.
That was yesterday.
Nothing yet but this is alarming. Big industry in India, including GlenMark...
