A drunken convict in Minnesota bit off a chunk of his girlfriends ear and beheaded her cat with kitchen scissors, authorities said.
Chaska police had to zap the blood-spattered, 51-year-old wildman with a Taser just to cuff him when they arrived at the girlfriends apartment, CBS Minnesota reported .
They found the 42-year-old woman, who was also covered in blood, trembling in a corner of the lobby.
She told officers her boyfriend of two years, Michael Trudeau, beat and tortured her during a sadistic bender.

Trudeau pounded vodka all afternoon on Sunday before he allegedly turned on the woman.

Trudeau has a history of monstrous abuse. He was convicted in 2006 of choking a Jack Russell terrier to death, and he pleaded guilty in 2012 to strangling his wife, the Chaska Herald reported .
He was sentenced to just 30 days in jail in the puppy-killing case and two years probation assaulting his wife.
His girlfriend told police she was terrified of Trudeau, because hed slaughtered her pet cat three weeks before Sundays alcohol-fueled torture session.
The violent felon set the poor kitty on fire, choked it to death and then lopped off the felines head, the complaint said.
He threatened to kill the girlfriend during the weeks that followed, and he told police on Sunday he hoped theyd shoot him, authorities said.
Doctors failed to reattach the womans ear, despite five hours of surgery. She was also treated for a detached retina.
Trudeau was jailed on $1 million bail for charges of assault, animal cruelty and making terroristic threats.
