I don't know. Did Bill Barr "Testify"? It is debatable!

WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—Attorney General William Barr stirred controversy on Tuesday by categorically denying during his congressional testimony that he was testifying before Congress.
"I am not now nor have I ever testified before the House Judiciary Committee," Barr told the House Judiciary Committee. "Any suggestion to the contrary is a flat-out lie."
After the chairman of the committee, Representative Jerrold Nadler, claimed that he could see Barr sitting several feet away from him, Barr came out swinging.
"I am not going to respond to hypothetical questions about where I may or may not be sitting at any given moment," Barr retorted.
Barr's steadfast denial that he was testifying before Congress drew the ire of Nadler, who said that Barr's prevarication was unbecoming of the Attorney General of the United States.
Barr's response was swift and fierce. "I am not the Attorney General, and any assertion that I am is patently absurd," he said.
At the end of the hearing, one of Barr's fellow-Republicans on the committee, Representative Jim Jordan, apologized to Barr for the going-over he had received from Democrats.
"Given how badly you were treated today, I don't blame you one bit for not being here," Jordan said.
Barr should be disbarred and barred from the Bar...
He didn't testify today..Democrats were so afraid of him they spent their "question" time yelling at him in support of Antifa.
If you didn't know before today, you know now that Democrats know that Barr owns them and they are simply outclassed.
Duh, it's the Borowitz Report, DUH!

Damn! I missed it...
Completely ridiculous.
Bill Barr used the term "Russia-gate" approvingly today. That is a right wing conspiracy term. He should be ashamed of himself.
He also had the nerve to blame Obama for the pandemic.
Barr will "run out the clock" on any questioner he doesn't not want to answer. He is notorious for it, and it does in fact often work with the 5 minute per questioner format. If Barr can take 5 minutes meandering through the first question he's pretty much home free as far as any accountability goes.
How many times did the congresspeople ask him a yes or no question, and how many times did he answer with a yes or no? The answers are "many" , and "not once" .
Can he be charged with Impertinence To Congress?
See the problem is - with this Administration - satire is really tricky.
My fear is that one day I will tune in to SNL, they will do the actual news straight - and everyone will think it is satire.
It has been surreal. Salvador Dali Level...
