It Appears Trump Fatally Misjudged America's Appetite For Him
Write down Sep. 29 in your memory books. When the election post-mortems take place, that date of the presidential debate in Cleveland will loom very large. In a nutshell, support for Donald Trump has been tanking in almost every major poll taken after Sept. 29 and the damage reports are still coming in. Put it like this - the Titanic didn't fare much worse.
According to a new Quinnipiac poll Trump is now trailing Biden by 11 points in Florida, and by 13 points in Pennsylvania. Frankly, Trump can't afford to lose either of those states. Down 11 points with 27 days to go in a state you MUST have, what can Trump do? Call people names? The "charm" seems to have worn off that tactic. Can he bring up Hunter Biden for the 200th time? That didnt work the first time or the fiftieth, no one cares about the 200th. The economy? Recent stories out of Wall St say the nation's stock gurus and investment bankers think Biden will be at least as good as Trump for the economy, and maybe better. The "Sleepy Joe" insult nickname didnt do jack for Trump, and even "Russiagate" has fallen on deaf ears outside of Trump fanatics. No one among the swing voter population mentions "Russiagate" as the reason we must tolerate Trump for another four years.
It does look bleak for "Make America Great Again" as a national theme in 2021. What about Make Leavenworth Great Again ? Or Sing Sing? Any such place will do.

Even Rassmussen, Trump's favorite poll , is letting him down. In the new one, today, Biden is up 52 to 40.

All those seniors in Florida didnt like Trump making them look bad in the debate I guess.

If Trump continually brings up Hunter Biden, then so should Trump's evil acorns be brought up. There is enough dirt on them to lock daddy's heels in any debate.
If I were Biden I would invite all his accusers to all the debates and give them front row seats right in front of him. I know that would fill the venue, but still... what goes around comes around.
