Texas now looks to be a neck-and-neck race between President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden.

Little by little, even Texans are starting to wake up! jrSmiley_4_smiley_image.png

Texas, a GOP stronghold for more than four decades, now looks to be a neck-and-neck race between President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden with just six days to go before Election Day.

The Cook Political Report, a widely followed and respected election-tracking operation that periodically issues ratings in presidential and congressional races, moved Texas on Wednesday from “Lean Republican” to its “Toss Up” column.

Michael Bloomberg has put up money for Biden ads to be run in Texas media markets during the next six days.

Whoa-- wait a second-- wasn't Michael Bloomberg a Republican? (IIRC, he was the Republican to defeat a Democrat for mayor in a long time?)

Younger voters are changing Texas for the better...

That seems to be a trend elsewhere as well...

And that, combined with the increasing number of Republican politicians who have to started to oppose Trump in large numbers, may be the start of yet another YUGE Democratic sweep!!! jrSmiley_4_smiley_image.png jrSmiley_4_smiley_image.png jrSmiley_4_smiley_image.png

We have known for some time that the voter demographics were changing in Texas. They have not always been so damn bassackwards...

It was not that very long ago Ann Richards was Governor of Texas and George Benson Senator.

Your last sentence I copied is absolutely true.

Almost all Texans I personally know already know who the Senators from Texas have been, and George Benson isn't one of them.

Of course, being an astute Texan, I will assume you meant LLOYD BENTSEN.

Yeah, I meant Lloyd Bentsen. You got me...

I'd rather make a mistake like that than be on the record supporting the likes of Ted Cruz, Louis Gohmert and Greg Abbott...

Despite another article here on NT, trumps support from the Black community is not shockingly very low.

Trump is loved as sickle cell and diabetes by blacks.

His support by blacks is only "surprising strong" if you are surprised there are any black Trump voters!

Oh wow.

I totally agree!

Things are starting to look up for the U.S.-- despite some of The Moron-in-Chiefs stupid moves in deliberately spreading the "Trump Virus"-- strengthening the Communist Chinese economy by depositing large sums of money in a bank account he opened in Communist China, having his flunkies in the Senate attempting to weaken America's advantage re: China by trying to hurt American tech companies in today's Senate hearings, etc, etc.

Trump's pigeons are quickly coming home to roost!

The demographics are obvious... but they're not here yet.

The GOP is racing to transform the US into a one-party police state, before "those people" become a majority.

Dunno......

OP is racing to transform the US into a one-party police state

Does reality ever intrude on your fantasy world?

You mean like a one party police state that uses the national security apparatus to spy on political enemies? That lies to the Courts to justify spying on American citizens? That uses it's control of the media to feed lies about said spying?  Or does  that party pack the Supreme court with partisan justices to achieve it's policy goals?  Is that what you mean?

At some point, I hope the reality of what's occurred the last four years penetrates the bizarre conspiracy driven narrative you've adopted in it's place.
