Trump Wants A Recount In Wisconsin. How Would It Work?

Remember Trump dismissed the call for a recount in 2016 when he won the state against Hillary Clinton by a similar vote count.

Not long after The Associated Press and other news outlets declared Wednesday that Democrat Joe Biden had won Wisconsin's 10 electoral votes, the Trump campaign announced it would ask for a recount in the state.

Should the Trump campaign follow through on its promise to call for a recount, it will be on the hook to pay for it.

With Trump they need to make sure he pays IN ADVANCE!

They aren't ever gonna see that money, no one who gets in any way financially involved with Trump ever does.

it will be on the hook to pay for it.

Get the money upfront and in cash.

They do have to pay a filing fee.

If the difference is less than 1% and he wants a recount then he should get a recount.

If he really, really wants one he can have one. It's doubtful that, at over 20K votes, it will make any difference.

I'm confident that the people counting the ballots have tried to be as accurate as possible.  20,000 errors would be a lot.

Previous recounts in WI have moved a couple hundred votes, never thousands.

Why should Trump get a recount when Hillary didn't?

He’s going to demand that he be allowed to recount the votes by himself, and shred the ballots as he goes.

That would make a great onion story.

It is hard to imagine that they would end up changing the vote by 20K, but have at it.

Trump Wants A Recount In Wisconsin.

He is gonna keep this shit up until the day he dies. The next few months are going to be him slinging shit at the wall in the form of lawsuits and just hope ANYTHING sticks (Which of course it won't because the suits contradict each other across the states and all are baseless). After noon on Jan 20 he is just going to spend the rest of his life bitching about how he was cheated because, you know, people voted and the votes were counted.

Maybe he will just say to hell with it.  I should get in as much golf as I can before my cellmate grabs my putter.
