Where have you [Republicans] been for a month?

Well said.

At this point, both parties should be aligned against Trump.

I believe every sane American is aligned against Trump. Sadly, we apparently have tens of millions of Americans who aren't playing with a full deck.

Even though the sane outnumber the insane, this should serve as a wake up call as to how desperately America needs better education opportunities for all as well as more funding for mental health.

As we know, there are quite a few insane people out there. So of course Trump still has his supporters.

How about we try actually lining behind Joe Biden?

Being opposed to Trump does not equal support for Biden. Although for now it most definitely should!

Have we become too contrary to follow a leader?

What is wrong with opposing Trump?   He is the one causing the problem so attacking the source of the problem makes great sense.

Biden is not leading a charge against Trump;  he is (wisely) staying out of this and letting the system cleanse itself.

It's a start, and even though many centrist Republicans voted against Trump more than they voted for Biden, that at least gives us a platform where we can debate real policy change to help the most Americans especially during this pandemic and financial crisis. We need to get America past this pandemic and back to work and school, we can argue about the minor differences in policy later.

In addition, first things first.   Biden is not PotUS (yet) and is not leading a charge against Trump (wisely).   We need to clean out the Trump administration and enable Biden to take office.

I would think people would at least see that priority one is to mitigate this negative charade by Trump.   Maybe that is not so clear to some.

Biden ran pretty explicitly on the fact that he was some kind of cure for Trump. He spoke all the time about how he was going to "restore the soul of the country." I think that got him elected more than any kind of broad support for his policies or proposals (whatever they are). At this early stage it's hard to see him in any other context.

Because most of those that voted for Biden did not vote for him because they believe in his policies and think he will be a good president, they voted for him strictly to get rid of Trump, mainly because he beat Hillary..

That's a crappy way to vote for our leaders

And yet, people voted for Trump, who turned out to be a crappy leader.

Nope...if you have a job and have a 401K, then you would have seen the number on that 401 increase dramatically over the last 4 years.

If you did work over the past 4 years, your household income increased more than any other time in history

Even your liberal friends could get jobs with the lowest unemployment in history, and millions of unfilled jobs.

There were no wars started by Trump.....but there were several started by Obama

Trade deals that benefit the US more and not the country the deal is with.

Lowered prescription drug prices

There are many more.

If you were not told about these things, then maybe you need to turn off CNN and MSDNC.

A good portion of republicans are rapidly distancing from trump. I think initially they supported his coup attempt but as time wore on and literally no evidence of voter fraud was presented, they backed way off.

At this point, both parties should be aligned against Trump.

They should, but listening to them on TV and some of his supporters on NT I don't see that happening.

Time to put partisanship aside in deference to patriotism.

Anyone defending Trump at this point is proving their über-partisanship.

Those not calling for Trump to cease this charade should spend some time thinking through their priorities to better determine right from wrong.

They have the nerve to call him the law and order president as well as give the moniker to themselves.

Yet they are willing to throw law and order aside.

Cuomo - "He's not working on the pandemic."

It's been widely reported that trump stopped going to pandemic taskforce meetings over 7 months ago. He doesn't care about it, or the people it's killed. It's a battle he knew he couldn't win and in his eyes, if you can't win, it's best not to fight.
